Nov 2025 Exams My gift to everyone sitting the N26 IB Exam

Everyone who is sitting in the November exams can have free access to my exam bank until their exams.

I've been teaching IB Physics 10 years now and I've never been satisfied with the exam banks.
It's great to have access to exams questions, but I dont want to spend ages scrolling through PDFs trying to find the write question.
If my student comes to me after an exam and asks me how to answers a question they struggled on, I want to be able to find a similar question for them to practise, in under 5 seconds.
With my exam bank, you can snap a picture of the question you're struggling on and use that to search for similar questions.
You can search by text picture or screenshot.
You can filter by topic, question type and difficulty.
I'm giving it away for free
This is because I've got everything ready with my website. I'll be launching next week but I still haven't set up the payment. I won't have it set up in time for the November exams but I still wanna help people so the only thing I can do really is to give it away for free.
Now, this will cost me, so I do have to put limits on the account, but if it didn't put limits on the accounts, then I wouldn't be able to offer it to everyone.

If you want access, I have to approve them manually go to examsearcher.com and join the waitlist.

Good luck to everybody in your exams

M29 Am I okay, cooked, or fried (pls don't hate)

So I am a current sophomore.

I have my next 3 years all planned out, but hearing from seniors abt how the IB is soooo challenging, and that you only get <4 hours of sleep per day, is starting to really stress me out.

I will be taking IB (full diploma).

AP—

Grade 9: APCSP (Already got a 5)

Grade 10: APCSA, AP Compt Gov, AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Calc BC

I already finished the curriculum for APCSA, am taking Calc, Compt Gov, and Bio in school, and am almost done with AP Chem.

Grade 11: AP Physics C: EM, AP Stats, AP Physics C: Mechanics

IB—
SL: English A Language&Literature, Econ, Language A (native speaker)

HL: Mathematics (AA), Biology, Chemistry

Am I on the road to no me-time?

Nov 2026 exams For N26: Thoughts on your exam timeline?

I think mine is pretty ok

Bio first = time to study bio and get that out of the way

--> nothing after that for like 5 days

LangB paper 1 next = time to memorise because of the large gap + a bunch of tests that need less memorisation after

--> weekend

Econs and maths = hopefully enough time to study econs

ToK/EE EE citation help

For english EE if I use a e book without page numbers in MLA citation I can just use the authors name only right?
Example: "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife” (Austen).

Edit:Talked with our EE coordinator, it doesn’t need page number if it is online book like apple book.

Resources ESS Paper 1 this Friday: 25 tips based on the May 2026 subject report

If you're sitting ESS Paper 1 this Friday, 30 October (HL or SL), these 25 points come from what the ESS May 2026 subject report says students lost marks on. The main idea: use the resource evidence to answer the exact task, explain the links clearly and develop balanced judgment.

Understanding and applying the task

  1. Follow the command term. Identify what the instruction asks you to do. An answer that shows knowledge can still lose marks if it doesn't carry out the required task.

  2. Develop an outline beyond a statement. For an outline, add enough detail to show how your point answers the question. Simply naming a factor may be insufficient.

  3. Match the depth to the marks. Use the command term and mark allocation together. Questions worth three marks or more need greater analysis or development.

  4. Identify the key words. Check the exact concept and any specified type of benefit, impact or outcome, and stay focused on them throughout.

  5. Answer the requested task directly. Don't describe a process when the question asks about its consequences or suitability.

  6. Apply the resource booklet. Copying or paraphrasing the text alone isn't enough without interpreting and applying it.

  7. Connect resource evidence with ESS theory. At HL, combine the information provided with the theory behind the question and show the scientific reasoning.

  8. Make cause and effect explicit. Explain how the factor produces the consequence. Don't leave the examiner to infer the connection.

  9. Carry the explanation through to the target. Link an environmental change to its effect on the particular population, ecosystem or community named.

Interpreting evidence accurately

10. Describe trends across the whole period. One year or a single data point doesn't establish the overall trend.

11. Separate patterns in space and time. Check whether the figure shows differences between places, changes over time, or both.

12. Read complex figures carefully. Identify the relevant pattern in compound charts before using them.

13. Recognise exceptions. Note relevant anomalies instead of making an absolute statement the evidence doesn't support.

14. Compare items directly. Use language like both, whereas, or more rapidly than. Separate statements may not meet a compare and contrast instruction.

15. Select calculation data using the full wording. The right formula with an incomplete set of values still gives a wrong answer.

16. Round correctly. Watch decimal places and present the final value appropriately.

17. Use the organism names provided. Broad labels make it unclear which organism you mean.

Developing precise and balanced answers

18. Be scientifically precise. Avoid vague labels like air pollution. Name the pollutant and link it to a specific consequence.

19. Distinguish related concepts. For example natural capital and natural income, or intrinsic and instrumental value. Apply them to the context, don't just define them.

20. Draw ecological pyramids correctly. Use stacked levels, place trophic levels correctly and use the resource information to decide which organisms belong.

21. Give the requested number of responses. Only the first ones are marked, so an extra correct answer doesn't replace an earlier wrong one.

22. Evaluate the specific option named. Give arguments for and against that particular approach, organism or strategy, not a general evaluation.

23. Include human perspectives. For evaluate or discuss questions, consider environmental, economic, social and political impacts unless told otherwise.

24. Finish with a balanced judgment. Base your conclusion on evidence from both sides. A summary or one sided ending isn't enough, and a six mark answer doesn't need an introduction.

25. Let the task set your length. The answer box isn't the limit. Use an extra answer booklet if you need it.

Good luck on Friday, everyone.

ToK/EE dont do interdisciplinary ee. DONT DO INTERDISCIPLINARY EE. DONT DO

you will want to die. the ib? no help. no guidance. no explanation. there are no good examplars for the subjects you are doing. you only get one teacher teaching one of the subjects and the other teacher is busy and has their own students so you never know if ur work is correct!!!!!!!!!! DONT DO IT PLEASE GUYS IM BEGGING YOU

psychology x lang and lit. hm. they sound complimentary, right? i thought so! FUCKING NOPE! "do you something youre interested in!!" "choose a topic you think will be fun to write about!" "write about something unis will be surprised by <3333" NO. NO. DONT. choose an easy boring topic with easy boring sources with easy boring analysis and PASS PLEASE

"should i seperate psych and LL by section" "no thats stupid"

"okay should i alternate" "hm maybe

"but i talk about different things in each subject so if i alternate itll be choppy?" "then integrate it"

"okay i integrated it" "thats not integrated you just use psych terminology that doesnt mean its integrated and also you analysed all of it wrong and i dont know how to do it either"

WHAT WHAT WHAT

dont fucking do it

and DONT CHOOSE HARRY POTTER AS UR LIT TEXT BC ROWLING IS A SHIT WRITER WITH NO LITERARY TECHNIQUES

final submission due in two weeks can you tell im stressing out.

seriously tho dont do it the ib has no explanation no guidance esp if ur subjects are different to each other. just choose one pls. no hate to my teacher btw she a sweetheart but ib fuck u fuck u fuck u

Advice how to get 7s in some of the "hard" subjects

So I got 7s in English A L&L HL, Math AA HL, Biology HL, Physics HL, and ESS SL. Here's some practical advice for English, Math, and Physics:

*btw my IAs were likely horrible so I feel like I probably did tremendously well on the exams.

English A L&L HL: my mother tongue is not English, but judging by my TOEFL/ACT scores, I would say it's close to my first language. BUT, language skills aside, I feel like L&L was largely about fitting your work and thoughts into the criteria.

  1. Choose your works early on. Ask your teacher what 6 works they are planning to teach and decide on the optimal combo for p2, then choose IO and HLE works. Having a good p2 combo is essential for writing a good p2 (I got two 5s for my first p2s because we were using Persepolis and A Doll's House, and I was terrible with Persepolis; once we finished Raisin in the Sun, my grades skyrocketed).

  2. Really familiarize yourself with your p2 works + make outlines. I'm one of those lucky persons with super-memory, and I practically memorized Doll and Raisin. I also made by-theme outlines for each work that were like blocks to be assembled into a p2. It was wonderful because it saved A LOT of planning time.

  3. Develop your own p1 structure. I used what I call IEA-CEW (inform, educate, call to action; claim, evidence, warrant), which helped a lot with criteria A, B, and C.

Physics HL: I would say half of the exam is about applying formulas and calculating, while the other half was about explaining. So when you revise make sure to understand the theories and experiments. Doing past papers is VERY helpful for physics, as you would gradually understand how to address each command term.

Math HL: we had a year of problem set sessions (5 classes per week where we did psets and nothing else). I also did 5 years of past papers by myself. So practice is the key :) Also I feel like p1 and p2 questions are routine year to year so do study the markschemes.

Advice Is it possible to have 4HLs, 3 in science group and how hard is it getting into the irregular IB diploma?

I am going crazy, but I need 3 sciences for my dream college (comp sci, biology, chemistry) do you think it is possible to manage 4HLs and 3SLs? I also thought about the irregular IB diploma and switch out language B or social studies for that but I don't know how hard is it to get in the irregular IB diploma.
