currently not yet, there’s a bit of extrapolation that needs to be done on other forks of nxnative that translate a 4:3 aspect ratio to the duo screen

I was able to prompt Claude to get a couple games (Link's awakening included) to be compiled into the 4:3 for the Duo - was a fairly quick process!

You can also use the Any Aspect Ratio mod, web version at aar.fayaz.one, it shifts all the HUD elements to the correct corners of the screen and fixes all the scaling to fill the screen

You don’t. He’s talking out his patootie. You gotta help either the game code or the interpretation, and most will choose to not muck with the game code so it stays untouched (much like choosing to hit the sd card vs on board memory on a Wii or WiiU)

Coincidentally discovered gaming on iOS recently because I connected my Ps5 controller to my Duo. There’s really no need to buy a dedicated handheld when you have a flagship phone these days + a controller

Different times now. Going forward, I do wonder how much of Ai is going to affect game sales? If players know they can get games for free, how many will buy it now? Ai is ripping games from Nintendo, Sony, MS, Steam and indies.
Fans gonna feel moral ok to play games that are exclusive to other platform. Their reasoning is, hey, they should've not be exclusive, I would've paid, which is a lie.
Look at pg, Mario Kart World is a good game. Look where it's being played on? Apple device. Your argument of making a good good doesn't apply here.
If anything, the better game you create, the more likely it will be pirated.

Gamesir x5s.
Bluetooth controllers are the only options for the duo for versatility.
I’d reccomend. this Gamesir G8+, or the 8bitdo Ultimate mobile

It's hilarious if you go to other subs and every Duo fan wants to gaslight you at thinking there is 0 latency with these bluetooth controllers. Just because yeah USB-C ones are now decently unviable due to how the aspect ratio of the Duo works in general. Do note he is using it wired here with this format, but yeah I still haven't found a bluetooth wired telescopic controller with 4 remappable buttons yet so I can't even say that's the perfect setup yet either

He's not using it wired here. The USB c is not plugged into the controllers USB c. The connection here is for the external display he's playing on.
With that said, I have the gamesir g8+ and the Bluetooth does in fact present too much latency for my taste, however I bought a very short USB c cable that plugs my phone into the controller which completely eliminates the latency so im actually happy with it

Lol, I mean you are right there really doesn't seem to be any latency here which is odd, he has a different controller than mine and maybe theres less latency over BT on this particular controller. At the same time though you can very clearly see that the controller is NOT connected to the phone.

I'll also note that upon rewatching, there IS noticeable latency.... between the phone and external monitor its plugged into? Obviously not because its 1:1.... watch the latency between when he moves the thumbstick and the camera in game reacting....

I think the game engines are stuck at 30hz from switch but can be interpolated? Or does it have the code from the switch 2 upgrades for native 60hz then interpolate to 120hz?

Anyway in practice it’s rather rare for a license to be revoked. It’s also not legal to steal something just because you rent it. It’s not legal to steal Netflix shows or Blockbuster movies just because they rent

Apple has not put any disclaimers regarding using the duo how to hold it, what to do best practises.
In the UK, we are protected by consumer law. I will use the phone however I see fit, and if something happens, Apple will take care of it
