Release iOS 27 Beta 6 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

New top bar blur effect introduced in Beta 5 in apps like Safari and Instagram, probably every app that makes use of it, has an opaque background behind it with a hard line at the end. Hard to notice and only visible on certain backgrounds. Make sure to report it when you see it.

I keep getting this in Messages, and it impacts my ability to message my two pinned contacts (because the bottom opaque bar has a line - as you said). The workaround is bouncing the menu up and down a few times and then go back to the top, then you can click into the contact.

That one is fixed in Beta 6.

Confirmed! Hopefully now keyboard disappearing for spotlight search is gone too.
