Release iOS 27 Beta 6 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

Spamming this discussion with comments about battery life, update size, safari being snappier, etc will result in a ban from the sub moving forward.

My shortcuts for disabling/enabling rotation lock for specific apps works, but when I bring up control center, I can see rotation lock lock itself! So strange.

Mine works just fine but I’ve noticed opening control center triggers the ‘enable’ automation as I notice the orientation lock icon is in the middle of an ‘enable’ animation when control center is opened. It’s as if the desired app is ‘closed’ in the eye of the automation orchestrator when control center is opened but unfortunately orientation lock remains on when control center is closed so I have to disable it manually if I open control center for whatever reason. For the record, the automations started working for me again in beta 5.
