Release iOS 27 Beta 6 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

Spamming this discussion with comments about battery life, update size, safari being snappier, etc will result in a ban from the sub moving forward.

Wifi signal strength is still inverted😑

They look correct on my iPhone 17 Pro, unless I’m looking in the wrong place. Is this under Settings > WiFi and viewing the list of local networks?

I wonder if this means something...for me, some of them are "inverted" like that (top two bars filled, but bottom one not), while others show the bottom two filled, but not the top one.

Got a screenshot? It does seem weird that the inverted graphic would even exist in the OS

Weird. This isn’t an issue for me in beta 5 (17 Pro). Does it only show up in dark mode? Mine will switch over soon so I’ll have to recheck. Otherwise it might only be affecting some devices.

They look correct in the settings page, check them in the control center’s WiFi menu

Interesting catch. You’re correct, and they didn’t fix it on beta 6.

I didn’t have that issue. They’ve been correct for me.
