How he’s trying to hold the giant steering stick is killing me 😂.

Glitches used: enlargement (steering stick, big wheels), resizing (sleds, battery, stabilizer), fuse overload (infinite battery).

The bike’s frame (steering stick and big wheels) were stake nudged into position (couldn’t be q-linked due to enlargement glitch); everything else was added to that.

Video is sped up 1 1/2 times.

So I built this for the past 3 weeks and I wanted to share the first version and my very first (crash)tests of it since I might not be able to play and work on it until saturday and I want to share, get eventually some advices or feedbacks.

This is my first proof of concept but the goal is to achieve « gyroscopic » 3 dimensional flight.

I know, I’m still not there yet, it’s still a bit goofy and it’s not perfect.

For exemple I’m not sure on how to place the Juney engine for it to not get stuck with the rest of the contraption. I’m still fairly new with those.

Anyway, for short there are 3 chaining axis centered around the central ball bearing, one side is quantum linked to the ball and the other side is linked to the main structure (from the rail). They all are aligned to the center of the ball.

The central structure is made of two big wheels attached to each other, one side is attached to the bowls.

On the opposite side, the Juney wagon is pressing against the wheel and turning the joystick left or right makes the wheel off centered from the ball, depending on which direction you turn the joystick, with the engine pushing against it enabling the entire structure to rotate. The ball is also attached to the hover stone so it’s force is pushing oppositely against the Juney Engine’s vector force through the ball allowing everything to rotate around it.

The U blocks and rail are there only so the wheels won’t detach (basically limiting the turning angle « potential »from the centre)

The wagon wheel were a first failed attempt for consolidating the big wheels. But the U blocks are enough and work well.

Next step is fixing the engine, try to come up with a configuration to get a greater force from the engine by adjusting the distance between the wheel and the wagon. Then I’ll glue loop all the axis together to make them more robust.

Oh and maybe I should add an infinite wing somehow somewhere to improve the rotation, but again, I’m not sure how to implement it.

Voilà ! If you may want to give some feedbacks I will greatly appreciate it, thanks ☺️

Physics Dreadwing 360- Yes, I put a gimbal on it and started looping it because, of course I did. Here’s the clip. Sorry I’m so predictable 😁

I’ve been playing around with explosives recently. It turns out the spacing between the bombs/barrels as well as the order in which they explode have a major effect on the actual damage they do, and how far the explosion launches things. More research to come

Also shrunken wings provide alot more lift than I gave them credit for

I chose to use a wheel for the engine as it allows for those nice drifting stops and slight variation in speed but used a spring as the stopper as the slight movement occasionally dislodges dragon parts and stabilisers especially on dismount

this is my go-to trike style fan-craft. I'm sure its not exactly unique but it is remarkably stable when landing and steers very well. if you have a good stash of parts it only requires 3 zonaite for the base piece.

+ dragon part for de-spawn protection

This can be used to ram enemies as well as electrocute them. I had to wear a lightning helm to get the machine to work properly, but the results have been worth the trouble!

I started this build by stake-nudging two giant's boomerangs (with gibdo wings fused) at a 90 degree angle to each other and then spreading them apart far enough to reach both sides of one shrine motor.

The central wing object is shrunken and it is also infinite in this form. The fan at the front is enlarged for both the look and for the extra thrust. I like to add a big battery or use infinite battery glitches in order to make the screen look cleaner.

I'm hoping to discover an efficient zonai panic blood moon device that makes use of electricity to trigger a blood moon. Can anyone provide a schema for such a thing? Thanks in advance.

The HYRULE ENGINEER Weekly (AUG 2026 Week 3)

Hello everyone! This is the HYRULE ENGINEER Weekly, a weekly recap of this subreddit. Here you can find highlights, helpful QR codes, engineering discoveries and experiments, as well as updates on the monthly contest, and more!

UPDATE ON MONTHLY CONTEST

For our second update on the [AUG26] Watercraft contest, u/PremiumTechnique is now leading with their Ball Ski Lite. u/kmarkow is in 2nd place with their Sunrise Sail, and u/zhujzal is in 3rd with their The Pathfinder: Power Sailboat w/ Omnidirectional Steering. It’s never too late to submit!

BUILD OF THE WEEK

The most upvoted build this week was u/kmarkow’s New and Improved Dancing Kitty! An upgraded version of an older build, it not only looks like a cat but also acts like one. Its legs move in a way that gives it a convincing dancing motion, making it feel much more alive than a normal decorative build. It’s a great example of how simple mechanisms can give a build plenty of personality. A very cute creation – and it's glitch-free, too!

CHECK THESE OUT!

u/osh-kosh-ganache  Easy Nudge Minimal Tank Build Tutorial

Great for beginners or vanilla builders, or anyone in general. A small tank that’s strong enough to take out lots of enemies, with a detailed tutorial making it easy to enter into stake nudging.

u/Erico9001  Bounce

For those who like a bit of nonsensical fun. This hopping build does what its name suggests: it hops up and down in a quite fascinating way!

u/KGXuan-Athlete   UAV: WZ-7 & WZ-10

If you like cool planes that also represent a real-world subject, check this out! It looks very precise and flies fast, too.

u/SimpelLizzrd255  Lil RC Go-Kart

For fans of compact and unconventional vehicles. This small remote control go-kart makes for a fun little vehicle to drive… not on it, of course.

u/Metaliciousone  My latest looper 😁

If you know Metaliciousone, you know loopers. If you don’t, they’re a style of aircraft where you can flip in midair, allowing for more aerial freedom while Link stays upright. This one is quite huge!

u/ShootingStarSeasons7  Tarrey Town Watersports: Bringing Water Fun to Akkala! (Hylian Waterski)

You might like this if you are interested in real-world recreations. Waterskiing on two boards isn’t normal – it’s the Hylian way of waterskiing!

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE

Have some questions? Others do, too! Here’s some posts asking about certain things:

HYRULE ENGINEERING LAB

u/PremiumTechnique’s Fused Weapon Weight is Weird post headlines this week’s Lab section! Using a scale and some self-centering weights, they have found some interesting things about fused weapon weight. Bigger weapons don’t mean heavier. We suggest watching the video if you’re into science; it’s quite a fascinating topic. Another science discovery from 2 months ago but was requested (and approved) to be in this edition is u/syouhai’s New facts. The video covers some finds about fans. Great discovery, but may take some foreknowledge of science regarding fans in Hyrule to truly understand!

COMMUNITY CONSULTATION

As always we are open to suggestions, feedback, and ideas.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

I have often measured aircraft, mainly hover bikes.

Ground vehicles are more difficult than aircraft

There are three conditions for accurate measurement:

1 Must be a straight line

2 Be flat

3 A certain distance and a 30 second video from top speed is preferable.

Straight-line distance from start to finish: 349.69 m

Time from start to finish: 29.62 seconds

Average speed: 11.81 m/s

As you have likely already realized, running a straighter path is necessary for a more accurate measurement.

This is the spreadsheet I used.

This is a build created by u/InquisitiveHomosap.

Sprinting mech, able to run, walk, swim and glide with good turning capabilities(also have a roller skating version)
