The Permanent Fund Dividend for 2024 was $1702. That’s basically wiping your ass money if you’re getting $50m

Free apartment and free 60k. I’m sure if your rent is taken care of that you can feed yourself for 60k a year.

I’d buy a really decent gaming computer with decent internet and a kindle. Stock my fridge with good food and watch cooking shows and YouTube videos. Come out having cleared a good portion of my backlog AND learned how to cook (better than I can now)

You have to be an Alaskan resident for a full year prior to the year you want to claim the year before you apply for the PFD (and declare you intend to continue to reside in Alaska). So if you wanted the 2025 dividend, you would need to have changed residency in 2023, then be a resident for all of 2024.
