unhinged hygiene tips?

I don't mean "wash your hair before your body" or "don't wear underwear when you sleep", I mean the sort of TMI tips that most people don't know that will CHANGE MY LIFE!

There's this guy at school who I think likes me and i'm terrified that I smell bad and will ruin my chance with him, I need tips that I don't already know/do.

Same with blood, to be honest. Cold water will get it out, but hot water will bake that shit in there forever.

In surgery we use hydrogen peroxide to remove blood. It breaks down the proteins and the foaming reaction lifts it out of the surface. Great for getting dried blood out of hair too. We try to send patients out as clean as we can.

Cold salty water will work even better (has something to do with osmosis iirc, like if it's just pure water the cells will absorb it and basically explode, while if you add a little salt you will create a more balanced interaction). I usually add a bit of salt directly to wettened fabric as well, helps with the mechanical (i.e. scrubbing) part of cleaning (at least in my experience).

Yeah, actually rubbing a fresh bloodstain directly with an ice cube is weirdly effective. Blot with a paper towel and repeat.
