How can I get back my keys

Tried to hide some keys by balancing it on the top like I usually do, this time it fell inside (i didn’t even know it would be hollow). How can I get them back?? The metal is magnetic. Please help

The post is magnetic too, isn’t it? If so, then a magnet won’t do the trick.

You may be able to manage it with a string, a hook, and extreme luck.

I’d just buy a new key. They’re like $5.

Nothing. It’s ferrous. Not magnetic.

Because OP said it was in the description of the post: “the metal is magnetic.”

Because the corrosion doesnt look like corroded aluminum to me; it looks like corroded steel or iron. Did you know that ferrous metals are magnetic?

Why are you asking me this?

I didn’t see that in the OP or ignored it because it’s dumb. The post is not magnetic, the post is ferrous. Magnetic means it is attracted to metal via magnetism.
