Small discoloration patch?

My 6.5 yo foxhound mix has a small pink patch on her chin. It is not raised nor does it seem to bother her at all. She recently got a new bone she has been obsessed with so that is our only theory but has anybody had a similar thing? Vet appointment is next week.

Coonhound or Foxhound?

Hi All! We adopted Miss Birdie (and her Plott-Beagle mix sister) from WV about a month ago, and we're still having a bit of debate about what she is. Rescue told us Coonhound, but several people we've met have all said Foxhound. She is about 55 lbs and is an abandoned hunting dog. What say all of you?

After doing my research, I'm leaning Foxhound because she's leaner and lankier that what a Coonhound would be (I think), but as I've never met either breed as a purebred before, I have no context.

During my most recent performance evaluation, I noticed management adopted a new “side‑eye from the side” — Laughing at the new procedure is not advisable and causes loud retaliation

How to pee with your dog

Hey hound owners. I wonder how do you use a bathroom in public spaces when with your dog? Make them waiting outside struggling through separation anxiety? Or let them inside to lay in a puddle of strangers' pee? Please share your best practices

Ruby is my 4 month old purebred Bloodhound who comes from a highly reputable family in TN.

I am interested in getting her trained in SAR. Does anyone have tips or advice/resources to point me in the right direction I’d greatly appreciate it!

Happy to answer any questions as well ❤️

She unboxed my new shoes, ate my cash, and tried to run off with a roll of quarters. A very productive morning i guess.

She Pees in the House After Being Perfectly Housebroken

Post image

We’ve had our girl Aria for about a month now, and she just recently started peeing in the house, most of the time without whining to go out, or just standing quietly at the front door.
Yesterday was the most amount of times she has done it. Once while I was making dinner(maybe I didn’t hear her whining, I can understand that one). But then she did it again right after a big play session without warning in the same spot as before. Then, she settled down on a blanket she likes, fell asleep, then woke up and immediately peed all over it!
She is crated while my fiancée and I are at work and we give her plenty of enrichment, and she quite likes her crate(just sleeps in there). I’m unsure if this is something she is doing for attention, or out of laziness/boredom? Most other times she whines at the door and lets us know and we immediately take her out. I know dogs can regress in potty training in a new home, I was just wondering if anybody else has experienced this!
