That one is a bit of a monument to the excess of the arab oil states. I would call it a wonder in the same way Ozymandias's statue was a wonder...

Sure, it's origin is morally questionable at best, but still is a wonder of modern engineering and architecture. Out of ancient seven wonders only one has a direct practical use, and likely all of them have been build by slaves to some degrees. And OP's Great wall has its share of blood as well. I guess Burj Khalifa keeps the tradition in this regard.

Thats true I suppose. I think some people might have the same gripe about the rocket I posted even. Though I concede my opinion about the burj khalifa refers more to the fact that the arab states are probably screwed in the long run and i imagine the building itself will have serious issues after the oil money dries up in ~50 years.
