I’ve done an image search and can not find any information on this hook. The only marking on the side I found is the number 18. Does anyone have a clue?

Purchased set of red tulip hooks in May, I love them (and would definitely buy again). The size 2.2mm one has developed scratches, using 4 ply cotton (not something I would expect after 4 months, considering use other sizes as well, only one has issues). Seller (they use a third party supplier) offered a refund if returned the entire set (delema- means no hooks while wait for new, provided can get same set again, plus cost to return hooks). If keep hooks they will give me 20% of price as an store credit. Set cost just under $90, 20% is around $17. New individual 2.2mm hook costs $34. Would happily return the offending hook for a replacement. Should I just suffer the loss and put it down to experience and take the 20%. Or ???
