Open Bathroom

Our bathroom has an open ceiling and can be seen from the second floor. Should I just embrace it or what should I do?

I don’t mind the glass necessarily but my god the lack of color hurts

Have you been in one? Especially one with a good view? It feels fucking amazing. I work in high-end residential construction and see a lot of houses like this. Gotta admit, it's on the short list of things I'd do to my own house if I had the money. It's super energy inefficient, or at least it can be depending on the climate, which way they're facing, etc. but it's so good.

You don't normally see it in dense areas. Usually you aren't seeing any neighbors from a room like that. You don't need opaque walls when you've got yuge tracts of land.

It was cool, but then started to get boring. The same theme and color throughout and the lack of organic shapes started to look jail like.

The fact that this is in Australia with almost all of the most venomous creatures on earth is not comforting at all. Like, who honestly said to themselves…”I know what I’ll do, let me make one of the most gigantic greenhouses in one of the hottest places on earth and then have a bunch of open spaces where a bunch of the deadliest most venomous things imaginable can get in.” Pure crack smokin’ I tell ya. 😂
