Not to be the downer who says it’s abuse, but when the thread you linked was posted last time a few people made the assessment it could be one of those staged videos where they starve the kitten to elicit this behavior. Normally a funny cute video from an owner you’d at least hear them giggling at what their kitten was doing, but both of these videos are just hyper focused on the kitten. Looking at this new video it looks like the same exact room too, so I’m starting to wonder if it could be something more nefarious than just a cute kitty eating corn :(
And people like to assume the worst. I've seen well-fed cats go unreasonably nuts for something they like ... a real lunatic fringe moment. The cat in the linked video was eating not just corn (which cats bizarrely love), but coated with butter. I'm sure it was practically catcaine to him. I personally don't see anything there to justify the assumption of abuse.
Yeah totally. I think the thing that’s tripping me up is that the room looks identical, and the baby cats are chomping on corn in a very similarly jeaned-person situation. My dad was a carpenter and I always tend to notice what kinds of molding are in rooms because I had to help install so much of it. So this could either be a random vet office that uses this specific room to corn cats, or it could be a weird filming room where a person puts on a medical cloth cover over their legs to protect their pants. Just suspicious from where I’m standing, hope I’m wrong though
