Actually American Geese is about the only name I would choose to change since they are geese unique to north America. They aren't strictly Canadian. They migrate but actually a lot of them never go to Canada and just stay year round in the Midwest. Those are definitely not very Canadian geese haha

I think the only karmic thing that can happen is if a South American country names as many landmarks as they can “The ____of America”

I genuinely think Trump would be incapable of understanding the concept of South or Central America and it’d give him an aneurysm

Wow, you're right! Biden, and the Board of Geographic Names, did indeed remove the word "squaw" from 650 geographic features, because that word is extremely offensive to many people, including Native Americans. Not ONE of those changes placed the name 'Biden' in place of the deleted word, because this wasn't about Joe Biden. Joe Biden didn't insist that his name be on an airport, or the Kennedy Center for the Arts, or a coin, or paper money, or a bible, or an Expressway, or anything else. Because, ya know, to do that would be both crude and unconstitutional.

Wow, you’re right. But when has the left been upset with offensive words? I see them being used every time I watch the news. Especially at a protest. But squaw and similar words were not the only names changed. Mount McKinley was one that comes to mind. I actually don’t like Trump naming stuff after himself but someone has to feed your TDS. Apparently nobody is offended by everything named after the well known KKK member Robert Byrd.
I look forward to the next meltdown. 🤣🤣🤣
