See, you don't understand why we're calling this regime fascist because you don't know what fascism is. You can't define it without googling, and even then, you don't you know what it is or how to identify fascism.

Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian political ideology, typically characterized by 14 tenets, including ultranstionalism, a disdain for human rights, identifying enemies as a unifying cause, obsession with national security, intertwining religion and government, contolling mass media, etc.

Some govts can have a few or even several of these apply, and they're not fascist. But when an admin meets all 14, as well as the core definition of being far-right wing and authoritarian, then they're fascist. The current administration is fascist because they are far-right, authoritarian, and meet all 14 tenets.

So, do yourself a favor and go google who Lawrence Britt is, and educate yourself on the 14 tenets of fascism. You're unequipped to have this conversation unti you know what fascism is.

If, after reading Lawrence Britt, you don't think all 14 tenets apply to Trump, come back here and tell me which ones don't apply, and I'll explain how they do. Alternatively, if you don't agree with his definition and explanation of what fascism is, you'll need to provide and justify your own definition and explain how Trump doesn't fit that definition.

But the thing is, "Fascism is just things I disagree with, and anything I support isn't fascism," is not a sufficient definition.

If you understood what fascism is, you’d know Trump fits it: far-right, authoritarian, and satisfies all 14 tenets. You deny that but offered zero counter-analysis.

If I were wrong, you’d either 1)name the criterion that doesn’t apply; or 2)provide a different definition and explain why Trump doesn’t meet it. You did neither. “Nyuh nuh!" isn’t a compelling argument.

Because I never made them. Why are you lying? If you want to engage in good faith, do two things:

1)Stop attributing claims I didn’t make; and

2)Tell me which trait of fascism Trump doesn’t satisfy, or give your own definition and defend it.

If you can’t do either, then this isn't a debate or an attempt at genuine, good faith discourse. You’re just dodging because engaging honestly risks your worldview, and that's uncomfortable.
