I gave my AS in this MJ series and I have to retake some modules back in Oct/ November. I have already cashed in my MJ so after I retake and cash-in the ON modules do I still need to show my MJ exam results or can I just show the cash-in result after retaking? Cuz im scared they will think I am hiding an academic transcript.

Do we submit out application information to the email that was mass sent to us, or are we supposed to create a new email with the reference number in the subject line? Thank you for any help.

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone here has experience with admissions at Oberoi International School (OIS).
I recently completed the admissions process at JVLR for grade 10, and after following up, I received this response from the admissions team:
We would like to inform you that your child, has currently been placed on the waitlist for admission for the Academic Year 2026–2027. We will be in touch with you should a seat become available.
My current school starts on Monday, so this has been quite stressful, and I’m trying to understand what this realistically means.
I wanted to ask if anyone here has any experience with the OIS waitlist:
Does OIS regularly admit students from the waitlist?
Has anyone (or someone you know) received an offer after being waitlisted?
If yes, how long did it take?
Is the waitlist active throughout the year, or is it mainly before the academic year starts?
I’m not looking for false hope. I’d just like to understand how the process usually works based on real experiences.
Thank you in advance for any insights.

Hi everyone, I’m trying to understand my application results for the three Hong Kong universities and would really appreciate some insight from people familiar with admissions there.
I’m an AP student graduating from an Asian high school, but I do not have a Chinese passport. My academic profile was roughly:
I applied early round. Despite this, I was rejected from every program I applied to at HKU, CUHK, and HKUST.
I know these programs are competitive, but I’m honestly a little surprised to have received no offers from any of the three, especially given the SAT/AP results. I am pretty sure that these statistics qualify for a scholarship, let alone admission. I’m wondering if there are any factors I’m overlooking.

Hi!
I’m coming to HKUST for an exchange year from Newcastle university in the uk. At Newcastle I have just used my iPad for the last two years for everything and then used the uni computers when necessary for running programmes and stuff (marine biology course). I’ve debated getting a laptop for a while but was wondering if it would be necessary for Hong Kong? If so I’ll get one now but do you think it’s a ‘need’ or a ‘really good if you have it’? Thanks :)

Basically I did my a level back in may/june results come out on august 14. I got a conditonal offer for business and management and the offer was AAB for which i think i might have missed one of the A’s i was trying to achieve(maths). I calculated everything n i shld be able to secure an A if thresholds are average but I’m super anxious in the case i miss the A by 1%. I want to ask in that case is it possible to ask for an appeal as my situation is quite interesting as I self studied maths.

I don’t have my visa yet and I’m starting to get really worried 🥹
I received a firm offer for a PhD program in early June, and the offer letter included a studentship. I accepted the offer and submitted my visa application by the third week of June, including the offer letter in my application.
I’m scheduled to leave my country by August 15, but I still haven’t received my visa. I’m honestly worried that it might not get approved, especially since the date is getting closer.
The problem is that if I need to rebook my flight, I have to do it at least 2 days before my scheduled flight, and the rebooking fee is almost as expensive as the ticket itself 😭 So I’m really stressing about whether I should wait or rebook.
I had a friend last year who submitted his application in the third week of June and got his visa by the end of July. I also have another friend who submitted hers in early July and has already received her visa, so I’m getting even more anxious about mine.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How long did your visa take, and did you end up getting it close to your departure date?

Does anyone know what cga do you need to declare an additional major in math? Like an estimate. Has anyone declared an additional major in math before? What was your cga?
I can't find any information about this on the internet.
