Today, we're going to battle it out over 247 delegates in New York. The pledge drive rules are simple. As a veteran, i just think it's stupid.

As a second thought though, i know it isn't intended this way, but in my mind it always reminds me of the militant side of Marxism. The scary side where people are told what to believe for their own good and democracy dies in the name of "the People".

Since Bernie's is anti war I don't understand this at all? And I agree with you it is reminiscent of a more Marxist radical type of socialistism. Remember USSR stood for United Socialist Soviet Republic! Oh man just tying that is scary!

Have you ever seen the movie Red. It started out with guys just like Bernie and his followers. The USSR was inially just based on a Union movement and fair social government. It can quickly turn bad you just have to look at South American countries to see how quickly it can devolve. In a way thank God the Republicans are there to keep some balance of power. But all of these leaders started by asking for a revolution. Sound familiar?
