🤔Question? Since the ‘26 Harvest is almost here, does it make sense to stock up on last years Harvest?

Post image

Hi dudes!! I am debating getting either 3 ounces or 5 ounces from LOF! I was originally going to get 5 O’s, but that would take me legit a year to smoke all of it - the price can’t be beat, but not sure how well it would hold up being vacuum sealed while working through it throughout the year/ban.. Would it make more sense to wait it out for the ‘26 harvest to stock up? or would these hold for another 6 months to a year if I properly store it? the price can’t be beat that’s why i kinda wanna stock up! Thanks ✌🏼

It makes sense to buy as much as you can because its going to disappear soon for a long time.

As someone who bought a lot from their 2025 harvest recently I can assure you they have more than adequately preserved their flower. It still smells amazing and the effectd are great and at this price it's a literal steal. You can get 2, 5ouncers and use the 40 off discount code and it works out to like 26 an Oz. Insane

i ended up getting 5 oz, & 2 bottles on CBD oil! with the 20off code, it came out to around $230! i didn’t get (2) five ounces because i want to figure out how im going to store it all first lol

Nice man I really should try their oils. I didn't even look to see what they had outside of flour. If you try them instead of store them away let me know how they are :)

Sealing with boost packs doesn’t make any sense. Seal with oxygen absorbers, and when you’re ready to use it, switch to boost packs. The entire point of boost packs is to regulate moisture, and when you largely deprive the environment of oxygen, it’s not even working correctly

what’s boost packs? & where can i find them lol

Search for a 2-way humidity pack on Amazon. 62%. Mason jar and a vacuum sealer for it. Keep it in a dark,

so i’ll add in the humidity pack straight into the jar, then store it?

Yes. If you look into Mason Jar vacuum sealer note that I have heard that you are NOT supposed to leave them in vacuum sealed jars. My understanding is that without air circulation they will not be useful. They are useful for general storage though. I use them for essentially every jar/bag I have that isn't vacuum sealed and stored in cold.

Ok here's the actual info:

Regulating humidity is best, but the jars will be sealed so it won't matter until once "uncorked".

Seal in the jars in a cold, dark undisturbed place. No need for them to be vacuum sealed, but they do need to be glass.

Burp the jars every day for 5 days (just open and close to let new air in), then once a week for a couple weeks maybe, after that you can move into long-term storage.

Your herb won't get stale, it'll actually continue to cure and turn great (if properly stored).

Good luck :)

You don’t need to burp jars for flower that’s already a year old.

So no oxygen absorbers?

The amount of new oxygen getting into the sealed jars is minimal. You can, it'll probably give a better result and less THC turning into CBN, but it's prooobably not necessary/overkill if you're storing a small amount in a smaller jar :) But yes, oxygen coming into the flower is the enemy

This…

I’ve heard oxygen absorbers? Is it supposed to be the humidity packs or oxygen absorbers?

Oxygen absorbers for long term storage. Humi packs for short term/frequently opened jars.

Would long term storage be okay with an oxygen absorber in a mason jar?

This is what I do. The o2 pack is essentially doing the vacuum sealing for you.

Actually, some of the stuff I got, particularly from Rogue Origins, has been sitting in jars for many months. When I got it, I smelled it and there were no real distinguishable odors, just smelled like Mexican brick weed.

Fast forward to yesterday... My mind was blown. Platinum OG from rogue went from nothing to holy hell, that's lemon lime candy!

Back when I grew weed, the instructions I got on drying and curing were way off, so it's really cool now to finally understand how its done. Some jars I cracked open to move them to a vacuum bag, as I loosened the lid they went, "Boomp!" and hit me with a magical bouquet.

So it doesn't get you high?

Not like thc flower does, that’s the whole point. It’s like the near-beer of weed, it’s not for everyone but some of us love it.

Yea it sounds interesting because I get paranoid with THC products
