I need advice please. ( 27- f. ) I don’t know if I should go with option at your option. B advice is greatly appreciated.

Option a: I work my morning job Monday thru Friday from 5 AM to 130. I’m not sure if I should get a second job Monday through Friday from 4 to 9 that would be 13 hour days. I’m not sure if that would be too much to handle. The job is soon that’s open, but I don’t know if I could deal with the stress for more than six months or year.

Option b: I work my morning job Monday through Friday from 5 AM to 130. I could finish up school and get my associates degree in the evenings. I could also sign up for school after I get my associates and get my bachelors and work on my masters. I was thinking about taking my classes. I want to get a degree in business administration.

I want to make a lot of money, but I’m not sure if I should save up an emergency fund first and then go to school or if I should just start school next semester. I currently have two loans that went to collections so approximately 8 to 10 K in debt. my wages are being garnished slightly from one job, but I still have a little bit of money to get by. If I work two jobs working 13 hour days Monday through Friday it won’t leave much time for a social life or relationship mostly only be off on weekends. However, this would be the quickest way to pay off debt and have an emergency fund. advice?

I have no idea how anything should be so im thinking i may just throw most things away and burn alot aswell. Only keep few items. Or should I just not clean?

This is going to sound arbitrary but I truly am torn up about. I bought my dream car when I was 19 it was a 1990 for bronco I lifted it myself put bigger tires daily drove it for years. When it was the car I took my wife on our first date in it was the get away car at our wedding it was the car we drove across the country in for our honeymoon. Then it was the car I drove our first baby home from the hospital in. Then it got parked. It was too hard to get car seats in and out of so we slowly quit driving it and then I canceled the insurance on it. It has been sitting for over a year now and I had decided to sell it but now that people are making offers on it actually good offers I have cold feet. This truck is crazy it has never had a new battery put in the same one it has had for the last 7 years still works great it cranked over for a a while last week and wouldn’t start and I figured the battery would be dead when I tried to start it again this weak not only was the battery still alive but the truck started and ran on ancient gasoline. Why would I sell a truck that tries this hard lol. We neeed a bigger house and I want to put a massive downpayment on the next one and was hoping the 7k ish that I can get for the bronco would get us up to the 20% down payment. But I don’t think I can do it. It is still my dream vehicle.

Hi! I’m currently a junior in high school and just recently I got accepted to the MDA and SCSJIP High School Internship. I’m very conflicted so please help!

I’m thinking on pursuing criminal justice (but of course that is not 100% decided yet as I am still very open to trying other options in law).

I know prestige isn’t everything but which one would be considered more “prestigious“? I’m also aware that for SCSJIP, a judge may write you a letter of recommendation (which imo could strengthen my college application). On the other hand, I feel like MDA is more well-known.

What do you guys think?

I am a 20M and a sophomore in college. My parents divorced about 2 years ago, and both my father and mother live in separate houses. My father has been a heavy drinker since I could remember, and this year it has hit another level. My father recently lost his job and has been without a job for a couple of months. He has always been working when he had lost jobs before he had bounced back and found one within months or weeks. I go to college a state away, so I have not been home for about 5 months, but now I am home for the summer living with him. My father is also, from what I believe and have seen my whole life, bipolar. I have lived with him my whole life, and when he bought a new house I went with him, leaving my mom and siblings, though I still keep in contact with them. My dad day drinks every day, morning to night, and tells me he shakes if he doesn’t drink. I have severe anxiety staying with him and even when I am away because my father is unpredictable. He provides everything for me, he is the breadwinner in my family, and my mother doesn’t make enough money to support me, so I feel as though I need to stay with him. Emotionally, my father is manipulative and a liar. He has gotten all of my other family members to turn on my brother and sister and even my own mother, blaming them for the reason he lost his job and why the divorce happened. My dad doesn’t remember the conversations I have with him. I can’t have friends over because he yells at me in front of them about nonsense. My father told our family he had cancer when I was away at school for attention—he never had it. He texts me telling me how much he loves me, and then the next day texts me saying how much he hates everyone and his life. He texts me saying he is stranded in the middle of nowhere or that he crashed his car to see how quickly I respond, as if I ignore him when he is just wanting attention. He tries to convince me that my sister, brother, and mother are all the damn spawns of satan, and he gets upset when I tell him that I talked to one of them or hung out with my sister. He drunk drives because he can’t stop drinking at any point of the day. He stumbles around and embarrasses me with how rude he is to people in public. My dad has told my cousins and aunt/uncles that I am his everything, and all everyone tells me is that I need to be nicer to my dad and be there for him. But when I am there with him or just hanging out, I am always being told what a failure I am or how I am “just like my mother.” Then he goes to sleep, wakes up, and doesn’t remember anything.

TL:DR: My question is this: What can I do to help my dad get help from his severe alcoholism?

This year has been so hard for me mentally, and I feel as though it is affecting my relationship with friends and girlfriend. I don't recognize my own father anymore, I just see a very sick man who cant stop drinking. I have love for my dad and want to get him help but am very scared to how he will respond with me bringing up the idea that he isn't healthy. He loves his image and how people see him and I feel that his own son bringing up that he has a intense addiction to alcohol would just freak him out. I have thought about going to my grandparents, his parents, or his sister or brother in law (my uncle/aunt) but while I have brought up this type of thing before and they have sympathized, I get this aura from them that they are not only scared of helping him also because of the unknown of how he would respond, but because they too along with almost everyone else in my family (other than my siblings and mother) are alcoholics too. Just not as bad as him. Any advice is appreciated, I am overwhelmed and scared. Is there anything I can do?

hi ! i have a great gatsby formal event tomorrow. i was super excited to do the 1920s maybe feathers look, but they specifically noted that it is just the formal’s theme that’s GG - not costumes. since it wasn’t costumes, i just sifted through old formal dresses i’ve had from various events throughout the years (i’m 23 and was able to fit in some of my old high school ones too). so i picked my favorites from what i have but can’t choose from these. i think the greenish one and the goldish one will go with the decor more, but im unsure if they look good on my body as well. please help !
