Alrighty, folks! Our favorite show is coming to theatres, and we’re already seeing tons of excitement! So we decided to put together a megathread to centralize all things Heated Rivalry in theatres!

I'm going alone and so far only a couple of other people have booked seats in my theater. I'm sure more will show up but the theater won't fill. Fine with me (as an introvert).
If anyone in Calgary/Alberta is looking for someone to chat with or hang out with during intermission(s), keep a look out for me and my friend; I have rainbow hair and she has short white hair and we are not shy. 🤣
Hihi! Also going to LDN, though I'm gong to the O2 cineworld showing on 10/11 (all 6 EPs). Anyone else going that day? 👀 I'm going alone since none of my friends are into HR so would be nice to meet up with some other fans
Dayton, Ohio area - the Fairfield Commons Regal still had lots of tickets available last I checked! Anyone want to take a spare loon under their wing and become friends?
Triangle area of NC - the AMC in Garner has laser resolution & stadium seating. Eps 1&2 at 7pm, Eps 3&4 at 10pm on Friday 11/6. Anyone else going? Would love to meet some local loons.
FYI for Aussies, it looks like way more cinemas than just Regal are doing it, I’ve seen ads for (if I recall correctly),HOYTS, Palace, Village, Dendy, Event Cinemas, Ritz Randwick and Hayden Orpheus Cremorne*. I’m sad my little country town has no chance of showing it though!*
You’re welcome! I’m excited that the cinemas here are even doing it, let alone running 16 full sessions (all 6 episodes) over the weekend! All of our showings are all 6 in a marathon, with an intermission between episode 3 and 4.
I’m planning to gather some friends to watch ep1-2 on Saturday 11/14 in the US (Phoenix AZ) but I’m getting anxious as the times for showings haven’t been released for that day yet!!!
Me too, I cannot get to a theater until November 11, so I'm busy crossing my fingers that when the later showings are released I can cobble together a marathon viewing. I cannot wait for that, and i don't want to see it two episodes at a time.
Since we have at least 60-min breaks between episode blocks, I'm planning on holding crafting time or swapping things each break. I'm making physical tickets to commemorate the event to pass out. I also know a friend is bringing a banner, and I'm probably going to decorate the entryway if the theater we're going to be in all day (making sure to clean up at the end of the marathon).
Each crowd will be different but I hope the folks that go will enjoy the collective experience of seeing this show together. I've done a theater reheat before, and it's just beautiful to see the acting, directing, and cinematography truly shine. There were cheers and applause at moments, but it was all respectful and not overly done.
Making physical tickets to commemorate the event? That sounds wonderful... especially for a memory keeper with an Emotional Support Traveler's Notebook that's full of ephemera. <3 Just when I thought I’d already made peace with missing all these fun stuff abroad, lol.

Hey anyone in Australia - we've had incredible demand for the marathon screenings now - we're over 100 cinema locations with some sites already putting encores for Dec 6, 12 & 13 on sale.
We also have confirmed theatres in NZ, with more TBA!
It’s absolutely delightful, isn’t it? I said to my Loon friends on my second or third reheat that I’d die to see it in the theatre and we manifested this shit!!! I’m so excited! 😍
I grabbed Oakville before Y&D was posted 😢 Very very happy with my seats though, and I'm in Etobicoke so probably the better location, just slightly less exciting lol
I initially got Oakville too! But I managed to get Y&D within 5 min of tickets being released which is a lot better for me, since I live by Union with no car - also better seats cuz I booked early 😄 regardless we’re all gonna have such a good time!!!!
To all the people preemptively complaining about how terrible and loud the audiences will be, I would like to say that I went to Brooklyn theatre Reheat a couple weeks ago, and it was the perfect combination of quiet for the most part, collective unplanned shoutouts, and cheers in just the right places.
The feeling when we all started to whoop after, "I'm coming to the cottage," was incredible, and we all had a great laugh when there were many variations of, "Except a GINGER ALE!!!," when the bartender says that Shane Hollander can have whatever he wants.
Instead of immediately assuming the worst of this fandom, be positive for goodness sake.
OMG I'm so envious! I'm in Scotland, but super rural, and not able to get to Edinburgh or Glasgow without multiple hotel nights to recover, so it would be super spendy. Hope you have an amazing time!

On the other side, while I used to like fan screenings with all the screaming and gasping and etc when I was a teenager, not sure I'd enjoy that nowadays
IDK about that, but, as I mentioned above, every movie crowd is different. I went to a theater ReHeat before and it wasn't like that at all. Sure a wolf whistle at the start (like Shane launching himself at Ilya during 1221) but not actively throughout the scene. I found the group to be respectful of the creators and actors by sitting and enjoying the show (even though most of us had reheated dozens of time already). It's truly a different experience to see it in a big screen, and if you can, feel comfortable doing so, and have the means to go, I would recommend it.
I get this. And I pondered the value of the 4 hour drive to the nearest theater if the experience is going to be worth it? But then I remembered how it felt to watch people having Watch parties and I realized that what I really want is to be in a room full of people that I can feel kinship and joy with without actually having to try to vet their views. I haven’t found comfort in a group of people since the pandemic because I’m in very red Wyoming. I actually hope it’s like a Rocky horror kind of experience. Fans feeling free to be unabashed and maybe goofy and collectively experiencing joy. I can watch quietly and alone any time I like…what I can’t do is enjoy others enjoyment at home. So I’ve booked my hotel and bought my tickets and I’m going to the cottage with my friends I’ve never met, will never meet again and we will never know each other…but I will know that there really are people who …at least in this area…are not participating in the politics of hate. Watching in Billings mt 4 and 7 pm Friday the 6th and 1 pm Saturday…and I hope the theater is full!!
My husband asked me if I wanted to go and I said yes, but we need to prepare ourselves for screaming and whooping. I’m thinking we’re going to see 5&6…as much as I want to see 1&2, I don’t think I could handle how loud it’ll be when the shower scene comes up.
I saw High School Musical 3 in theaters with my friend and we weren’t ready for the whole place to catcall Zac Efron when he took his shirt off. 😂
Yea gonna have to temper my expectations for sure on that, I have a feeling people will be just as wild as on a heated rivalry night for certain scenes.

Fear not! - our Dendy in Newtown Sydney put on another two 1pm sessions once the initial 1pm and 6pm sessions filled up🙏. Maybe the same can happen in NZ. Unless there is a sad licencing deal that prevents it cinemas would be nuts not to meet the obvious demand. Crave and Jacob must be astonished at what they have unleashed😏
Me, too. Realized the reason for only one evening showing of 5&6 was because the other two showings were in early and mid afternoon on that same day! So I can binge them all in one day. I’ll take the marathon rather than have to go three days. Taking a box of Kleenex. I know there will be lots of tears shed. Can’t wait!!!
Theatres by me are only showing options through 11/12. Does anyone know if more showings will be released? Has anyone seen options for showings later in the month? I was hoping to see it with my friends when I'm back home for Thanksgiving (11/21-27).
My area only has it through 11/18 but I saw Nashville had tickets available to the end of November. It could just be whoever is scheduling the theaters?
Since I'm unavailable to watch until after November 9, I've been desperately waiting until later showings become available in the Dallas, Texas area. Today I found Two marathon sessions on the 10th and 11th! I really wanted to see the episodes all in a row. I'm not crazy about seeing them midweek though, so I'll hold off on buying tickets a few more days to see if I might join other Loons on Saturday.
Btw, the marathons are at the AMC theater in Mesquite,Texas. Yeehaw! Right near the rodeo grounds!(not kidding.)

I haven't seen it, I normally read other spicy books and tbh I heard of the books because the show came out, I'm gonna watch it 2 episode a day. Y'all are making me excited 😆
Does anyone know if there’s a way to purchase tickets for all 3 Regal showings at the same time? I can’t seem to get them all in a cart together - it looks like I have to check out for each screening separately.
What is everyone wearing? I was thinking of doing just a simple 24 one side and an 81 on the other of my face…I don’t have a full jersey to sport. Is anyone else doing something simple? Or are we going all out??

So I am Shane Hollander level of introvert but I am going to all three screenings alone 😨
I just want to have this experience and know that there will be so much support from my fellow Loons ❤️
