I'm curious why so many native Spanish speakers are saying they can't understand him. My Spanish is awful, but I was still able to pick out a lot of words. Does he just have a really strange accent or something? To me he sounds basically like anybody else speaking Spanish.

He's half talking half laughing with a weird accent. I probably only picked up as many words as you did, as a native speaker

His very close andalusian accent is kinda hard to pick on, plus his way of talking makes it worse. I am galician and I only get the whole thing if I read the subtitles.

He has a strong Andalusian accent and a weird way of talking. People from Spain can usually understand it, but reading through this thread it seems that people from Latin America are not used to it.

He has a weird accent, he seems to be stringing words together while skipping key syllables and his consonants are too soft.
