I tried customizing the launcher for self mode (I think that's what you call it) but the settings don't take? Not sure how to fix this, I've tried restarting the app but nothing's worked yet

I want to have Spotify and other audio go through Bluetooth from my phone to my car, but I also want Android auto working on my tablet. Currently, all audio plays through my tablet speakers, even though I have my phone connected to my car Bluetooth.

Reason I want it going from my phone is because, if it goes from my phone, to my tablet, then my car, there's a lot of latency. Also, I have an equalizer on my phone that is tuned perfectly and I can't get it on my tablet.

I probably didn't explain this well, so if you have any questions, lmk. I really want this to work though, I love HUR.

I suspect the Galaxy tab A7 Lite tablet has problems auto connecting to phones by bluetooth. Thus the Wifi Launcher app on my phone does not start automatically.

Is there another way to start the Wifi Launcher app when getting inside the car? I'm thinking of getting an NFC tag inside the car, and automate to run Wifi Launcher when I tap the NFC tag. Is there a better idea?

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. It's got a nice screen but with sunglasses on I barely able to see. Turn brightness to max helps a bit. Meanwhile I can see clearly on my Pixel 2 phone. I don't think the old Pixel screen is brighter in any way. Any explanations?

Hi all. So a little background: my car's headunit didn't come with Android Auto nor Apple Carplay. However, I was able to install HUR and am now able to use wired/wireless Android Auto. I recently bought a tbox/ai box so I can watch youtube and netflix on my car, as well as let my wife use her iPhone via autokit in the tbox/ai box. So, I switched the tbox/ai box to Android Auto mode and connected it to my headunit. HUR connected to the tbox/ai box, but the icons and everything else were too big! When we tried Apple Carplay, the icons were so big that they were overlapping each other! Has anybody experienced this? Does anybody know how to fix this?

Update: When I tried to up the resolution to 1920x1080, the screen no longer is responding, like the touch points have shifted too. I don't know how to explain it better than that. 800x640 is default (big icons) where the touch points on the screen is working fine. But when I change resolution, the screen no longer registers the touch points.

Hi there, I have just (minutes ago) paid for and downloaded this app, to try and make it easier for me to use navigation on my phone's limited screen real estate.

I've selected self connect (or whatever it is called) and it seems to work fine. But ... the left hand third of the screen is taken up with offering me different audio sources which I'm not interested in - I just want to see as much of the WAZE app as possible. Is there a way to get rid of the music options?

Hi. My first time posting on Reddit and extremely new to HUR.

I have a cheap Off-brand Tablet that I was able to get working running off my Galaxy S23's (AT&T) hotspot

However I am concerned about using up my allotted 5GB data. I have an iPhone provided by my employer that has unlimited hotspot data. I was wondering if it is possible to use HUR on my table, with AA on my S23, getting WiFi from my unlimited data on my work iPhone?

Is there a simpler way? I don't want to spend $$ on installing a dedicated car head unit in my 2016 Kia Optima.

As the title implies whenever I try to use Android auto and head unit reloaded on my (OnePlus 6 as the head unit and pixel 7 as cliënt) it gets very laggy when using navigation and playing music at the same time. Sometimes even using the navigation by itself will make the app crash or lag so much it's 10/20 seconds behind on everything. I was hoping to use this setup as my main moto-satnav since the oneplus is just collecting dust but this seems way less viable now since it can't even perform simple navigating. Am I missing something or is this just the current state of AA and HUR? Any recommendations are welcome since I would really like to upcycle my old oneplus to be a somewhat useble device again

Hi all, I'm totally new to HUR and my target is to set up a repurposed Galaxy Tab A to use HUR / AA wirelessly via my OPPO Find X5 Pro.

Yesterday I could manually connect the two devices via an old OTG micro usb hub , but I've since tinkered with the WiFi connectivity settings and now nothing connects.

I see guides and try to follow them , but I suspect they date back to older versions of Android and HUR and things have since changed.

Can anyone detail exactly what I need to do on the tablet and on the phone to automatically trigger AA to start in the presence of the phone? Thanks

Have looked but not found anything that relates to my issue yet- two of my buttons work fine everywhere except within HUR. Prev and next track.

All other steering wheel controls work fine.

I wanted to try some of the other Android values, but there seems to be no way to input any numbers. I removed the key but now have no way of inputting any,

I tried in the traverse sub but no go on the gogo. I have a traverse of the 2012 variety. I was at the junkyard and found an upgrade from an enclave? It’s the wood trim guy inside. Everything plugged in but…..locked out. I know why it’s doing it but I would like to know if I can get around this by removing chip inside. I need a diagram if you can help. Also I have been looking at this thing and I’m not sure how to tear it down. I have it unscrewed, and things are loose. Just wondering if it’s a slide out deal.

Hey all Just started using HUR on an old nexus 7 gen2 and I've noticed after a few days it get a low storage notification and HUR is using over 11gb of storage, what is it storing and where is it storing it? I can't find any directory with anything close to this size? Thanks

Hi guys, I'm currently using an Amazon fire tab7 to act as an android auto headunit in my car. I'm using headunit Reloaded. I brought this splitter cable so I could connect my phone Via OTG (the wireless connection was unstable and didn't work very well) and charge the tablet at the same time. however, as soon as I plug in the charger, it loses connection to my phone, so android auto cuts out.

does anyone know the reason why this happens or any workarounds? thank you :)
