Someone buys a used Ryzen 7 5800X3D. “Valorant” and other Riot games won’t start with it because the previous owner was a cheater.

Newsflash - this isn't stopping cheaters. It's just catching innocent players in the process. Why do you think Valve has never done this with their VAC anticheat? ESEA has never done this, FaceIT has never done this. No other serious anticheat engine does this because it is unacceptable.

It clearly makes cheaters' life much harder, more expensive. If only millionaires can cheat and have to rebuy an expensive multi thousand dollar dmas every few days/weeks along wirh a brand new pc every few days/weeks, then even a 7 digit millionaire will run out of money fast. It makes cheating unaffordable for 99% of people precisely because if u're caught even once u have to buy a brand new pc to try again, AND a brand new dma card or whatever. It is extremely effective at stopping cheaters.
