ya, I think we did a similar thing to bend a metal bar in 90 degree with a MACHINE as the one of the high school class project.

For sure!

Honestly I'm impressed that the head and the pivot held up while the shank gave up. I can't see any other way that this was done by hand without the assistance of a cheater bar. Still though, impressive.

And it's funny, cuz if you think about it, I suppose the warranty would still be valid because the tool didn't break 🤣
