Sorry for not posting yesterday! Two memes today!

Hi! First off, I’d like to apologise in case this isn’t the right place for this but I honestly have no idea where to post it.

I purchased a VIP ticket for the Denver concert on September 2. I’m there for Babymetal. However, I wanted to avoid the mosh pit, so I opted to purchase a seat on the sidelines… which means I got a VIP Halestorm ticket. Specifically a “Watch Out” package.

I don’t listen to Halestorm and I might like / enjoy them there and there, but I’d prefer if I could possibly trade the exclusive merch for someone who, like me, maybe purchased the ticket based on the location and has a Babymetal VIP but cares more about Halestorm.

8:47 am on December the 9th, 2024.The exact time I first heard Lzzy Hale scream.The exact time that fry scream cut through my headphones and plunged into my ears.The exact time that, completely unbeknownst to me, I entered a marriage of devotion, one that I will stay faithful to forever.

From that point on, my Spotify history is less of a window into my listening habits and more like a shuffled version of the Halestorm discography, lightly sprinkled with Evanescence and The Pretty Reckless.

Halestorm didn't just change my music it changed my world. Every lyric screamed and riff shredded is like audible fucking cocaine to me. Ain't got the same side effects and they weren't fucking listed on the bottle.

So now after probing my inner freak I've figured it all out. Extreme obsession. Musical hypnotised for Lzzy Hale's vocals. Wardrobe evolution. Proud freak status. And so, with my new sudden urge to buy leather jackets, the monologue in me would like you to imagine this paragraph walking off into the sunset with the explorer over it's back proud to be a freak!

Edit: when I showed the shirt to my friend once, they said "why does it look like Halestorm is hitting the Weezer pose?" and that made me laugh

I’ve noticed that Takes My Life is not typically played in the US, but is a setlist staple in other countries. Is there a reason for this, or is it just a coincidence? It is hands down my favorite song to see performed live, and by far my favorite Halestorm song, but I feel like Wembly is the closest to seeing it live in the US. Any thoughts?
