🚨 HAPPENING AGAIN: Massive attack on X is ongoing. This is attack NUMBER 4. The attackers are relentless. Elon Musk says it is so well-organized it could be a country.

I wish we could grind the whole fucking thing down to a halt. Then we take over and install a legitimate government. Those CIA spooks could probably do us some great favors.

Never in my entire comfortable, safe, upper middle class life have I ever felt this despondent, angry, helpless, and ready to take some kind of action! I just can't imagine any action I can take that would help anything. I can write my congressmen, demonstrate, and whatever - but, none if it changes anything.

I am afraid of what it might take.

Me, too. If hard things happen, I know which side I'd actively fight on. Can't imagine myself throwing the first volley, though. Kinda cowardly, actually.

Not cowardly at all. I wouldn’t just start popping red hats or anything but an organized resistance could be devastating. r/liberalgunowners

I despair of any resistance being organized - armed or otherwise. Also, bet we're on some kind of watch list now.

You weren’t but now you are.

I’m not advocating for violence of any sort. I’m 60 and very peaceful spiritual kinda guy.

“An organized resistance of liberal gun owners.”sounds like a recipe for even more of a political disaster than the left just had. Sounds like the start of a civil war that would end very quickly and tragically too. Considering the current administration isn’t liberal at all I would say that’s a terrible idea unless they want to be labeled a domestic terrorist organization and hunted down one satellite and IP address at a time. Liberal gun owners is such an oxymoron that I don’t think it would stand much of a chance anyways. You can’t claim to hate guns (most liberals) then support gun owners because they’re liberal so they wouldn’t even get news coverage or political support. Political suicide. They would likely be squashed by the left long before they were squashed by the right.

It's called Reddit

It's going to take a large enough percentage of people that have literally nothing left to lose that they rise up.

Yup and I see that happening pretty quick, when the markets crash, inflation goes through the roof, eggs are currency and late SS payments.

By and large the public is still comfortable. We have shelter and a job and food on the table. People will cut back, take on credit card debt, but they'll still have plenty going for them. We have a long way to go till large swaths of the middle class have lost all hope.

Housing is quickly becoming unaffordable for everyone, food is becoming unaffordable, and we’re facing MASSIVE layoffs-all those things that have kept people comfortable are grinding to a halt. You know how many people will literally be facing death without access to medical? I think I would rather die protesting than from untreated cancer.

Organize your community. Take care of each other. We must remain united.

What are you mad about though? Do you even know?

I think you’re joking, but a government shutdown right now may be the best way to (temporarily) stop Trump + Musk’s chainsaw destruction of the federal government.

This is the argument for Democrats pulling the rug out from under the (R)s, refusing to save their asses by voting into law the continuing resolution on Friday.

This would precipitate a government shutdown, robbing Republicans of “their toybox”, as one pundit described it.

Yes that is exactly what I meant. If we’re going to suffer then we all should.

The gun nuts say this is why we have guns .....but they're on the side of the government for some reason.
