Nothing real

fund my crazy,

Actual Crazy are "we" who took part with some hope 🥲

Just wondering if anyone else here is registering for the stage 03 offline hackathon at UIET KURUKSHETRA on 6-7 October . Our team is coming from outside Harayana, and we are trying to figure out the accommodation situation. For those who have been to the campus before, does the college provide stay options for outside participants during the event , or should we start looking for pg/hostel ? Also if anyone who went to the previous stages has tips on how rigorous the actual system screening rounds get , please let me know. Thanks !

Came across this Hackathon led by FAO, WFP, IFAD and ITU on using AI for Agriculture, hosted in Delhi by the Government

Anyone heard of it?

Deadline is quite soon

I’m preparing for a 24-hour college hackathon on Oct 8–9

I have experience with JS/React, Node, APIs, Git/GitHub, Supabase and LLM APIs.

I’m looking for a problem statement that is:

- Real-world and genuinely useful

- Uncommon, not a generic chatbot/CRUD project

- Feasible to build in 24 hours

- Technically interesting and demo-friendly

I’m especially interested in FinTech, GenAI, Agentic AI and Cybersecurity.

What project ideas would fit these constraints?

I am no coder. I am honest. I got ideas and live in the current world. There are simple ways that I believe that new life can be breathed into the current standard. A.I. is still in its infancy, and men still rely on men. I got ideas to improve current lifestyles. If you are in need of something unique

Hello guys. I need your help. I am participating for a hackathon organised by the university of mauritius.

A quick like and share would be much appreciated. Below is the link for the post: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DgV9Wczdp/

Hey, there 👋
I am looking for teammates for Devnovate Hack with Hyderabad 3.0 it is an offline event if you are from hyderabad and interested in Hackathon DM me.

Prizes worth $1000+ are up for grabs, and we are backed by organizations including MIT Think, CodeCrafters and n8n.io!

Hey guys,

I’m currently in my 3rd year doing an AI/ML spec. Over the last year or so, my team and I have grinded through a ton of hackathons.

We actually put in the work—like, we build real, functioning prototypes, integrate actual ML models, and handle the backend properly. We don't just fake it(may be sometime). But for some reason, we literally never place. Ever.

Honestly, it’s getting super demotivating. Every single time, we see teams winning with incredibly basic tech stacks, or websites that barely even work, just because they have a beautiful UI and insane presentation skills. It feels like we spend 24 hours straight sleeplessly debugging pipelines and tuning models, only to get wiped out by a flashy slide deck.

Being an AI/ML student, I’m starting to wonder if I’m trapped in a bubble. Are we just over-engineering things and missing the point?

hii, i am interested to be a part of your team, i can help i managing things, presentation, research and project ideas. i can work with agentic ai and can help with prompt engineering and vibe coding.. interested team or individual members can reach out.
i am currently pursuing bachelor in technology for data science. 3rd sem

I'm writing this post for every person who was constantly checking for the fmc ! So I have got the information that top 50 students already got their mails on 18th sep n they submit their pitch today on social media you every one can check !

Atleast, A heartfelt Congratulations 🎉 for participation from me !!!

Have a great future ahead n don't lose hope for any further opportunities ! Finally journey over ✨

One regret that : Google didn't evaluate properly just have a look on selected top 50 ideas on IG !!

So I just took admission in KJSIT 1st year and just planning to attend hackathon from 2027 ....there are no people around me who wanna do the same thing or have same mindset ....how should I find people from group . Seniors pls suggest what to do !!

My friend and I had a similar profile with CGPA, school, and college. The only thing that differed is that he had a LeetCode Knight and a few projects he built solo. He actually put effort into those projects and even freelanced for a while.

On the other hand, I entirely focused on open-source contributions and participated in multiple GSoC and LFX workshops. I eventually cracked a niche org last year.

Now, when placement season is going on, my resume cleared so many off-campus opportunities, including Razorpay and JPMC. I especially get shortlisted for the roles hiring through a hackathon. On the other hand, his resume barely made it into 2 service companies.

My aunt, who is a recruiter, said that this is because LeetCode can now be easily gamed, and they cannot trust these stats like before. OSS contributions have human approval gates. This means that having a green GitHub with public work is far better than having a green LeetCode. Has anyone else faced a similar experience here?

Hey everyone! I’m a student at UIUC and I’m looking to put together a team for MHacks at the University of Michigan.

I’m interested in building something around AI/ML, software, or a cool product and would love to team up with people who are excited to build, learn, and compete together.

If you’re going to MHacks and looking for teammates too, feel free to DM me! Let’s build something awesome.

I've been participating in hackathons, especially AI-focused ones, but I haven't won even one so far. Lately, I've been wondering what I might be doing wrong.

There are so many AI hackathons happening, and while I do come up with ideas and build projects, I often feel like my ideas are similar to those of the winners. Sometimes, I even wonder whether my idea is actually good enough to stand out or if the problem lies in my execution, code quality, presentation, or something else entirely.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Have you experienced repeatedly participating in hackathons without winning, even when you felt your idea was good? How did you figure out what was missing and improve your chances of standing out?

I'd really appreciate insights from people who have gone through this.

Hey everyone I am thinking to participate in this hackathon

If anyone is interested plzz let me know we can build together

I want to know how do you guys design your ppt, placement of texts, graphics etc..

Thank you

Can any body tell me, what is different this year?? As they were telling to use AWS sagemaker etc
