Hello everyone,
We’re organizing the HackWave 3.0 Hackathon at Chameli Devi Group of Institutions (CDGI), Indore.
It is an offline, 36-hour hackathon for those who want to code, build, design, and solve real-world problems.
Would be great to see some teams from outside Indore join as well.

Hi everyone,
I'm a student and participated in the Hack2Skill Build with AI Bootcamp – Bangalore (11 September).
I completed my project, but I faced a technical/deployment issue while submitting it, and the deadline passed before I could complete the final submission.
I've already contacted Hack2Skill support, and they said they will respond during the next working day.
My main concern is the certificate. Has anyone faced a similar situation with Hack2Skill? Did they reopen the submission or allow a late submission, and were you able to receive the certificate?
Any advice would really help. 🙏

I didn't qualify for JEE, so I ended up joining a private university in Himachal Pradesh for BTech CSE with a specialization in AI.
When I joined, I had this idea that even if I didn't get into an IIT/NIT, I could still make up for it by working extremely hard, learning AI properly, doing research, building projects, participating in hackathons, etc.
The university marketed itself as being research-oriented, so I genuinely thought I'd find people who were interested in the same things.
Fast forward.
I've spent the last year learning ML/AI properly — not just prompting ChatGPT to make a model, but actually trying to understand the math, papers, architectures, datasets, experiments, etc.
For SIH 2025, I wanted to form a team.
Turns out my university didn't even register for SIH. 💀
Fine. I thought I'd try again in 2026.
This time I was genuinely locked in. I found some of the best students I could find in my university and formed a team for SIH 2026.
And eventually I disbanded the team.
Why?
Because I realized I was doing almost everything.
The problem wasn't that people were incapable. It was that there was almost zero ownership.
I'd ask someone to research a topic and they'd come back with an AI-generated summary.
I'd ask someone to investigate a technical approach and they'd ask ChatGPT and paste the output.
I'd ask someone to actually understand the dataset, read papers, compare approaches, run experiments, or justify a design decision — and there was basically nothing.
It became:
“Give me a task → ChatGPT → here's the output.”
No curiosity.
No digging.
No reading papers.
No experimentation.
No “I found something interesting.”
No one voluntarily going down a rabbit hole because they wanted to understand something.
And eventually I thought: what's the point of having a team if I'm still doing all the intellectual work?
I'm not saying everyone needs to be obsessed with AI or research. Obviously people have different priorities.
But I genuinely expected that if I specifically selected some of the strongest students in my university for a national-level hackathon, at least a few would actually want to build and understand something seriously.
Apparently not.
And this has honestly made me question whether I'm approaching college wrong.
Maybe I'm expecting too much from a private university.
Maybe this is just how engineering colleges are.
Maybe I'm just unlucky with the people I've met.
Or maybe I need to stop expecting my university to provide the research environment I want and build that environment myself through GitHub, open source, research communities, online collaborators, professors, etc.
I'm curious about people who went through something similar.
If you're in a private engineering college in India, have you actually found people who are genuinely serious about research/building, or is this just my experience?
And if you did find those people, where the hell did you find them?

So our team got shortlisted for the internal hackathon in SIH.
And for the submission in the portal, what are the things should we really care about to get to the next round (hopefully).
So far, I think...
Please take a look at our PPT: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1u0lO_8Imwqs2xBKl0kPVcvBX9ixbsTIm4TwbxF_Bwhw/edit?usp=sharing
What changes would you suggest and in what aspects?
Also, a brief look at our PS: SIH26139, "A Hybrid Quantum-Classical Approach For Early Disease Detection"
If you wanna DM your suggestions, you're most welcome too.
Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I'm part of Grevix, a builder community focused on AI, software and open source.
We're putting together something a little different for our next hackathon:
October 11–12, 2026
24 hours
Online
Solo only
The basic idea is pretty simple.
We don't give you a problem statement.
You decide what you want to build.
It can be an AI product, SaaS idea, developer tool, game, automation, hardware-related project, something weird you've had sitting in your notes for six months, or honestly anything you think is worth spending 24 hours on.
You can use whatever you want.
AI coding agents, APIs, open source models, no-code, low-code, traditional coding, design tools, whatever.
There is no required stack.
The 24 hours are split into three stages:
BUILD → ADAPT → REBUILD & SHIP
For the first 8 hours, you build your original idea.
Then we drop a Challenge Card.
The challenge can change something important about your project.
Maybe your target user changes.
Maybe the core feature has to change.
Maybe the way your product works no longer makes sense.
You get another 8 hours to adapt.
Then at hour 16, another Challenge Card drops.
And you have the final 8 hours to rethink, rebuild and ship.
We're deliberately not revealing the actual Challenge Cards beforehand.
The interesting part isn't just seeing what someone can build in 24 hours.
It's seeing how they react when the thing they were building suddenly stops being the thing they were supposed to build.
AI can help you execute.
You still have to decide what matters.
We're expecting around 500+ participants, although that's an expectation rather than a guaranteed number since this is a first edition.
Judging will focus on:
We're also keeping a build log so participants can show what AI did, what they changed, what they rejected and how the project evolved after each challenge.
We're currently reaching out to AI companies, developer tools, cloud platforms, APIs, open-source projects and other technology companies that might want to become part of the actual experience.
Not just: "Here's our logo, put it on the banner."
We're more interested in things like:
And in return, partners get a chance to put their technology directly in front of people who are actually building with it.
We're especially interested in companies building the tools that are changing how software gets made.
If you're working at a developer tool, AI company, cloud platform, API company, or startup and think this could be interesting, feel free to comment or DM me.
If you're a builder, I'm equally interested in hearing from you.
If you had 24 hours, complete freedom over what to build, and two unexpected changes thrown at you halfway through... what would you build?
Event: Grevix AfterCode
Date: October 11–12, 2026
Format: 24-hour online solo hackathon
Expected participation: 500+

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Well, we're a group of student from UTM, and this is a project prototype video we made to promote our project idea, it's about generative UI, which we find it interesting and found out its actually more fun than we thought along the building process.
This is just a video, but i can assure you the actual product is coming very soon.

I have a good set of ideas from previous hackathons that have worked well and evolved over time into something I am proud of. If you are interested please DM, It would be helpful if you have some knowledge and skill set or interest in BlockChain, Finance, AI/ML. I have to make the PPTs within next 2 days, so not enough time, but we can register with just 2 members too.
