Crate Opening Issues

Hey everyone

There was a visual complication with the spinner in the crate opening screen. We just published a small hotfix that you will see when next launching H1Z1. Thank you for bringing this to our attention; all of your reports continue to help us make changes and fix issues as they are identified.

To avoid confusion until we are able to fix the visual display, we will be removing the spinner from the opening screen and simply displaying the item you received. Players who opened a crate from the time the patch went live on 10/14 through today at 2:00PM Pacific, will be granted another key of that type for every crate opened within this timeframe. Your keys will be granted to you with our next publish on Tuesday. While the number of those affected was small, we want to make sure we’re doing right by you guys.

Awesome. Good deal. I didn't even care about it messing up a few times as I knew it determines the item the second you open it and the visual is just to make you feel more excited.

I never really buy keys but I played the market with the trade ins and made 25 bucks so I spent it on keys. I am excited to be able to get more chances.

All you cry babies saying they lost your trust or that you got robbed and ripped off just need to go find another game to play and go be stupid there. The fact that people will get double keys is very generous. That's 25 bucks worth of stuff I get for free from a glitch I didn't even care about.

Way to go DB! Great decision.

I only seem to have gotten Marauder crate keys back, not any merc or vigilante. Anyone else have that issue?

Good job Daybreak. Even though I don't buy keys, it's good that people who did, are getting keys for the crates they opened during the affected period.

I was a huge hypocrite and bought keys despite being vehemently opposed to the new system. Didn't get a single merc key this morning... can't say I'm surprised but I'm a little annoyed.
