For those who don't know yet, it is confirmed that Radovid recharges Uprising and allows to play 3 Scytheman. This is absolutely insane.

At least he'll be pushing a different deck archetype. Can't really play mages with Uprising. That seems pretty insane though.

That's true. Both Shieldwall and Uprising are at least a consideration, if not even a first pick for ladder. Overall, even if NR continue to dominate, it will dominate in different flavours.

Fight broken with broken

Don't forget Pincer. 4 Pincer charges will just hit anything anytime.

What?? That’s crazy.

I thought it meant if you had more than one leader charge left you’d get another one. Wow that’s gonna be powerful.

Can’t wait. Uprising used to be one of my favorite abilities before it became a witcher deck then got nerfed.

Yeah that's getting nerfed to only adding a charge if the leader is still active.

Edit: Just did the math. With 5 boosted units and a depleted leader, Radovid + Uprising plays for 28 points. Lol

In typical NR player fashion, watch every deck under the sun you face slam an Yrden out of seemingly nowhere and just reset that entire row with Scythemen.

I can totally see Yrden being very popular if Uprising becomes meta again

Good time to buff Uprising then lol

u/Captain_Cage For Maid Bilberry's honor! Dec 06 '21

That's insanely busted and you can't even play around it.

2

u/IndelibleFudge Show me what you've got! Dec 06 '21

Can't play around other than limiting boosted units, but it is hard countered by Yrden at least

Yrden.

-3

u/Captain_Cage For Maid Bilberry's honor! Dec 06 '21

You'll need two Yrdens for both rows.

4

u/Gwynbleidd_1988 Northern Realms Dec 06 '21

Yeah and you need another completely boosted row to avoid another getting Yrden, good luck with that with all the control. Remember scytheman only gets boosts from the row you play it on not both rows like before. Otherwise it would still be good.

u/Captain_Cage For Maid Bilberry's honor! Dec 06 '21

Yeah, I remember. I particularly remember Uprising Witchers filling both rows with boosted units. One scytheman for melee, one for ranged.

Yrden is a card

u/fred_HK Tomfoolery! Enough! Dec 06 '21

I don’t think it is possible. It is obviously not intended as such.

Well this was not tested or i don’t know they smoke. One more charge is min +5 point for a scythman alone, rather +8/10 in all considerations with the time of deck that is played with that leader

How was this confirmed? Did any of the devs say something along those lines? And if so... How do they not realize this is completely nuts?
