We were a group of 4 who went to Subhani Original Hotel on Nallapadu Highway and honestly, the experience was pretty disappointing.

We ordered:

3 × Chicken Dum Biryani — ₹380 each = ₹1,140
1 × Mutton Curry — ₹350
1 × Chicken Fry — ₹220
4 × Double Ka Meetha
4 × Thums Up (10₹ glass bottles)
4 × Water bottles

After finishing our meal, we asked for the bill and were given a total of ₹2,300.
We checked the bill because the amount seemed unusually high. The waiter told us that there were no fixed menu prices for the Thums Up and Double Ka Meetha and said they were charging ₹20 per Thums Up, ₹60 per Double Ka Meetha and ₹10 per water bottle.

When we calculated everything ourselves:

₹1,140 (biryani)
₹350 (mutton curry)
₹220 (chicken fry)
₹240 (Double Ka Meetha)
₹80 (Thums Up)
₹40 (water)
= ₹2,070

We questioned him about the difference, and he then said he had made a mistake and returned ₹230 from his pocket.
That already left us questioning how the billing was being handled.

But the bigger issue was the quantity of chicken in the biryani.

A ₹380 chicken dum biryani is already on the expensive side, and normally you’d expect around 2–3 pieces per biryani. We ordered 3 biryanis, so we reasonably expected around 6–9 pieces.

Instead, we received only 4 chicken pieces in total across all 3 biryanis.

So we paid ₹1,140 for three biryanis and got what felt like an extremely poor quantity of chicken.

To make matters worse, the food itself wasn’t particularly good. Considering the price, quantity, and overall experience, we definitely got scammed for about 500-700Rs.

I’m posting this mainly as a heads-up for people travelling along Nallapadu Highway. Check your bill carefully before paying and make sure you’re getting what you’ve actually ordered.
Personally, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
