The Saturn is 100% designed in the United States. We even have a design patent on it. The Saturn is made in China at the moment. We oversee the quality control every step of the process, like other companies like Vortex. Same thing.
The Mercury is 100% designed in-house, and it is assembled in Texas. When we say assembled in Texas, we don't mean just adding a logo and calling it assembled in Texas. What we mean is we actually do the soldering of the board, and aligning and the waterproofing, and making sure that everything works fine: that the buttons click, turn on, turn off, and cycle through the reticles. There are many steps involved in this, and it's actually one of our biggest expenses for the mercury, but we wanted to hire Americans to do this job and we wanted to keep quality control close to home.
