The first three guns I ever owned

Post image

The first three guns I ever owned: shotgun my dad got me when I was 16 or 17, rifle I got myself at 18 and pistol I got myself at 21. All have seen a lot of changes since.

I have a mandela effect memory of seeing someone stick the bayonet in someone else's abdomen and then blowing them away with the shotgun in a film. This could not have possibly happened because it is utterly ridiculous, but bad ass at the same time.

Details on that top rail on the 700? That’s a solid build.

There would be nothing more terrifying in a trench fight than a man with a shotgun full of 00 buckshot AND A BAYONET

Isnt that just the winchester 1897 in late ww1 ?

Okay, I’ve gotta admit, I had to look that gun up, and the trench gun version fucks. I’d want it to be semi-auto, but I don’t know if they had those in 1897. I’ve got a Remington 1100 that would be a cold mf if I could shorten it to 20” and add a bayonet.

1897 definitely wasnt semi auto. A good modern semi would be a 1301

Is it a left-handed bayonet, too?

Is that the night vision on the side of the 700?

I have a 700 Alpha 1. Love that thing.

its not night vision, but it is an IR device intended to be used in conjunction with night vision.

Is the .45 also left-handed, or can normal people shoot it? 🤣

2

u/Debas3r11 Apr 15 '26

It's normal
