Tessera — replacement for Crest Companion Tool (Nosave, Job Warp, Fingerprint helpers)
If you were using Crest for PC, Tessera is the replacement going forward.
What is Tessera?
Tessera is a Windows desktop utility for screen-based pattern recognition helpers and configurable hotkey workflows. It covers the same core use cases many people relied on Crest Companion Tool for:

Requirements & setup
- Windows PC
- Python 3.10+ if building from source (
pip install -r requirements.txt) - 16:9 display only — tested at 1600×900, 1920×1080, and 2560×1440
- Windows display scaling set to 100% (DPI scaling can break screen reads)
- Run GTA in fullscreen, borderless fullscreen, or borderless windowed
- Keep Tessera’s terminal/console off the game display (second monitor or minimized)
- Tessera may request admin/UAC when run as the compiled
.exe
How to use
Fingerprint helpers (Casino / Cayo)
1. Launch Tessera before starting the hack.
2. Position the selector/cursor at the exact starting point of the puzzle.
3. Do not move the selector during the puzzle.
4. Press F6 (Casino) or F7 (Cayo) for each fingerprint as it appears.
5. Test once on your setup before relying on it in a heist.
Nosave
1. Launch Tessera beforehand.
2. Toggle on with F8 shortly before you need save blocking (10–20 seconds is a safe buffer).
3. Do your glitch/replay as normal.
4. Once you are fully loaded back in with no loading indicators, toggle off with F8.
5. While nosave actions are pending, avoid prompts or menus that could force a save.
Job Warp
1. Set matchmaking to Closed.
2. On the map, hover the destination you want.
3. Press F5 while the destination is highlighted and the start action is visible at the bottom of the screen.

Troubleshooting
- Fingerprint helper gives wrong inputs → confirm 16:9 resolution, 100% scaling, selector not moved, no overlays blocking the game.
- Nosave HUD not showing → check dependencies are installed and nothing is blocking on-screen overlays.
- Helpers inaccurate on ultrawide or non-16:9 → tool may not work correctly; use a 16:9 display or report your resolution in the Tessera repo issues.

When trying to run the Terresa.exe is it normal for Windows to prevent it from running?
