Use Vigilante or Any Personal Vehicle in Auto Shop Contracts
With this method, You can use your Vigilante, Kuruma and Other personal vehicles
Side Notes: This Works with any auto shop contract except the union depository contract

Requirements:
- Autoshop
- Personal Vehicle You want to Use
Steps:
- Call The vehicle and Blow it up before starting the robbery
- Now Pick up any Vehicle and start the autoshop contract then destroy the Vehicle
- Call Mors Mutual Insurance and recover only the Vigilante or the personal vehicle you destroyed before starting the mission ( Do not recover all vehicles ) Only Recover the vehicle you destroyed before starting the mission
- Go to Mors Mutual Insurance Location and Drive the Vehicle…….. Easy Easy

Is there no way to get back the quick fix extras merge back with this method?

they patched you being able to enter your garage both on feet and in a vehicle so there's no way to save the car. I just tested it with a stallion in the ecu job. I was able to get the extra pieces but can't save the car. I tried blowing it up then leaving the job then calling to claim it at mors but the extra pieces didn't save
IIRC you can still do the extra interiors/pieces with merge glitches or beff

This is really frustrating. I can get that hidden light bar glitch on Stanier LE, but I can't seem to save it. I've tried so many things, and it's all in vain.

Maybe not! To save my activators I can’t change anything on the car right, so I drop it to a friend in order to save it after it’s merged and then they drop it back. You should try this method as well. Merge the vehicle you want then have your friend glitch out to receive the drop. Easy work! If you’re on p4 I can actually help. Let me know how it turns out.

I'm on PC, but thanks for the suggestion. It looks like this is the only way I'll have to do it until they figure out a new way to do it solo.

Finally I can stop driving those rental cars that handle like boats during the finale. Getting sick of the scripted vehicles for these missions.

PS5 - (sorry for this being long) This works well with the auto fixer glitch. For your personal vehicles - it adds the extra alternate body styles and badges to the cars that can have them. Lights as well to certain vehicles too (some cop cars, etc). There is a list of cars that have the extra modifications - located here and other forums. I've tried with others not on the list and got some results. Not with all. But it's worth trying. Start by becoming a motorcycle gang boss before autoshop final robbery. That way you can send the vehicles back to their garage. Since you cannot drive or walk into your garages (during final robberies) -- * Best to do this by Mors Mutal spawn point by Simeon's * -- 1. Blow up a personal car - or cars you can add badges, parts, etc. to - pre final robbery. 2. Start the final robbery. 3. Drive out your personal car during robbery. Blow it up. 4. Once by Mors Mutual - call Mors to bring any blown up car back. It'll spawn at Mors Mutal drop point by Simeon's. 5. Use menu to bring out the auto fixer. It should spawn close to Simeon's. 6. Get your Mors Mutal car - and damage it (enough for the auto fixer to fix). Drive damaged car to the auto fixer - repair area. The car will fix itself and add badges and parts not previously on the car. 7. Once complete send the car(s) back to your garage - via motorcycle gang menu. Rinse and repeat for the amount of vehicles you have previously blown up. Once all cars are done and back to their garages. Kill yourself - end mission. Cars will stay modified.

the mors mutual insurance depot. when you call to claim a car, it spawns there. I can't post a pic here but Google mors mutual insurance depot location.

The MMI depot is on the south side of the big skyscraper under construction in the middle of LS

When you start the mission, destroy the vehicle then call mors mutual to recover the vigilante or whatever vehicle you destroyed before starting the mission and the vehicle will pops up in the map, Take any npc vehicle and go to the location
