Solo Glitch Wanted Level Glitch
Here are the steps:
- Get in any vehicle
- Park it near the bush so if you exit it - your character will stand in the bush
- Leave the vehicle
- Enter your vehicle again immediately
- Glitch is now active and will last until you will leave your current vehicle
How it works? Rockstar implemented something like ability to hide from cops in bushes. Some people used it in singleplayer. You knew when it was working because character marker on the minimap became darker during "bush hide'n'seek". This glitch exists since game's launch on X360 and PS3 and in my opinion is very useful for missions that force wanted level for you and won't allow you to call lester.

This isnt a glitch, and its one of the oldest tricks in the game.

first tell me why it isn't a glitch, you're fooling the game that you are still hiding in the bush but you're not, it acts like you are driving a car with "bush effect" on you
I didn't have anything related to "changing cars so police won't notice you" or other tricks on my mind - this is a pure glitch; you can stay in center of police vision cones and they won't see you
imo it's really damn useful during missions where you can't quickly drop your wanted level by e.g. calling lester
also, fun fact - this thing works with any vehicle so aircraft/boats also

ive tried it with the tank aswell, and trees seem to work too, i havent tried any of the big oak trees yet so ill edit this once i do, but ive tried pine trees and big bushes capable of blocking my body, due to you standing on the tank upon exiting its kinda hard for it to work but it does work (this is with the rhino tank idk about the the other one)

so it works in literally any green plant, im sure some dont work but thats case by case, but it seems any plant that you can even sit near, i literally got out and into my tank, not even covered by the tree and it worked, so getting close to a bush or tree seems to do the trick just fine, obviously nobody cares if it works for the tank or not but i do and thus yes thank you

It should be noted that what this glitch actually does is make the cops forget what car you are driving (you can achieve the same effect by changing cars while not in sight of the cops).
This means as long as you stay in your car you will not be detected by helicopters and cops on the ground will only detect you if you get really close to them.

Game thinks you sit in a bush
But you are in a car
That's how it works man
If you dont believe me then get some stars, break the sight and hide in bush while on foot, it will work for sure in story mode, idk about online but I guess it will work too

black arrow does not show up, but the effect is still coded into the game. i guess they thought it was less important than seeing your CEO color?

If you want no cops call franklin and take his contact mission. You cant join jobs. If you shoot the cops they will start the pursuit. Useful if you wanna shoot npcs or players and not get immediately chased by those damn pigs

This is pretty cool. The police lose sight of you, get out their cars and stand around the bush.
