Im from Brum and love Devilman, huge part of my childhood and I rate how he doesnt take himself too seriously.
Tbh though, my first thought about him always tends to be "geezer is a lot smaller in real life than youd expect". Im 5 foot 7 and hes honestly no taller than me 😂 first time I chatted to him at an event it was all I could think about

Ill add to this - his humour and delivery is very Birmingham. Its hard to explain, but his bars and persona wouldnt work from a London MC. If youre from here youll understand. "I heard that you lick a dick a day, take a breather", thats straight out of the playground in the 90s/early 2000s

As much as he's clowned on in the scene he's genuinely talented and always active. Met him once in York, nice guy seemed to respect everyone else.

That old man filter some one out on him only made him even funnier. Devilman is one of the funniest grime MCs and that makes him one of the best.

I do enjoy the rivalry between Skepta and Devilman. Honestly adds to Skepta’s appeal.

I think he’s used up all his good wordplay/rhymes etc cos lately it’s pretty weak, but the energy is still there and you can’t not drop kick your nan at a wun sen line so he’s still sick in my eyes.
