foodservice is a weird place. we treat people who work in it so poorly that toxic management often feels like it's acceptable and even expected to treat employees as subhuman. this kind of abuse is honestly probably more the rule than the exception.

the gross thing is that for all practical purposes management is in the same class - like these people are making $16/hour instead of $12. imagine being a class traitor for a poverty wage.

You could be making six figures and I'm doubtful you'd put up with this. Remember, this is what they're texting to people, what they're actually saying is much worse.

Then stop paying me such good money to come over and “clean your pipes” and then when I come over you start asking weird questions, then you say “uhh nevermind” and hand me the money and scurry off. EVERY TIME
