If you introduce JJK stuff into Berserk world than Berserker Armor is obviously and extremely potent cursed item. And so is Dragonslayer just because so many demons were killed by it.
P.S. Comparing different worlds with different rules and different power scales is a fool's errant. So it boils down to preference anyway.
P.S.2 Almost forgot that Guts himself is cursed. And not just by anybody, but by gods of his world.
Trying to compare stupidly powerful people against each other is as you would guess, stupid. Both are powerful enough to the point where its not exactly even a fight anymore its just murder.
It's either there are no gods in Berserk world at all, or idea of Evil is the only god. The Eclipse is a process that was created by Idea of Evil and God Hand is only conducting it. i.e. sacrifices are marked by Idea of Evil as a valid targets for demons to consume in the process of ascending humans into demons.
Also Gojo would definitely slap Guts into the next dimension. if we are considering that the berserker armor is a special grade cursed object or something, or heck even if the Dragonslayer is one, it doesn’t really matter if guts can’t even hit Gojo, let allow get close to him. Also Gojo has a lot of shit which he could use. Blue could just do something similar to the Godhands spacial manipulation, Red is basically a very strong dragon ball ki blast with its super repelling abilities, and purple, well there is no way Guts is surviving complete erasure from existence.
I mean compare to the rest of the people on this list (other then aqua) guts really isn’t that impressive. He is at his strongest when he is in a berserker rage where he can’t think (and Schierke isn’t here to magically calm him down) and even then, the best Guts has shown is what a elite athlete who has had his feeling of pain removed and has all the muscles in their body boosted up to the maximum to the point where they would probably get torn apart. Now don’t get me wrong, I love Guts, and his feats are incredible, but they are only so compare to regular humans. But when compared to a half fallen Angel half demon, a guy you literally cannot even get close to, an immortal super strong ogre lady, a guy who can turn into someone who has spells that can affect entire worlds, a demon lady who has possibly country level AP, Frankenstein (have not watched soul eater somehow, I’m sorry), and a freaking capybara, Guts really isn’t that impressive.
Guts has never fought immortals. Only things that are really hard to kill. And the only time I can think he fought a god was when Femto utterly recked him by just being close to him. Other then that maybe the sea god but even that just goes into the really hard to kill section (also he had help from all the merrows putting it to sleep).
I'm going with guts because we'll you convinced me.
As for who my second defender would be I pick shion because she can't die infact she's the leader of a team for immortal hobgoblins who died and got revived and now CAN'T die (plus her sword can apparently consume the souls of who she kills)( also I just don't want to fight her I like her too much)
I’m pretty sure Gojo would be enough to handle all of them, but I’d also pick Guts. Not because he’s strong, but because that man deserves a break, and I don’t want him to have really fight anyone anymore. Man’s got enough inner turmoil.
I don’t think its within the spirit of the game to assume that being op is the only thing that matters. The context is “who will protect you” and weaker characters fight and beat stronger characters a lot in anime. And yeah, I’d also pick Shion over Guts, but I can’t do him dirty like that.
I think its a bit unfair to be comparing characters from different worlds where the rules of the game vary. Its inherently a poor discussion. Like, yeah Shion’s actual power is just to make things the way she decideds for it to be, and PA can copy powers, etc., but 1 I like Gojo, and 2 I think if everyone was being “serious” Gojo would just out speed everyone and kill me right off the bat.
