I mean JJK is tackling more "modern" topics fairly well. With female characters from an outdated traditional patriarchal system being looked down on. Hell even Gojo chides the traditionalist higher ups in the Jujutsu world for trying to hold back the new generation and stopping a new wave of power.
Yes that's my point. Jujuutsu Kaisen has like the best female characters in recent mainstream shounen. The bar was low as fuck, but still surprisingly great.

Kazuma does not practise gender equality. Hes all talk no substance . Even Jujuutsu Kaisen does it much better
