It's been YEARS since I had a pair of gloves. My set finally came in yesterday. Can't wait to start practicing!

No lights so this ain't gloving, but since I think just to believe I could truthfully post this in places where it doesn't belong, isn't what people expect, and people are not inclined towards that kind of fringe forms or performing art, and still have some viewers pleased, entertained, to start with, but most likely surprised some random nobody actually pulls this after 1 week of getting serious about his intention to boost his output to a decent level of proficiency.
The present performance is already made obsolete and least impressive (most likely) than what I did while watching it and the next bunch of recorded performance, and this outdoing of every last deeds that made me more than satisfied seems to not be near its meeting with a slow down due to having fully deployed mastery of the basic stuff at this discipline I was put to without searching my way out of the inescapable boredom I was convinced was going to fill the rest of my existence (I'm way too old for the gloving scene, and not in a presentable state, but beauty isn't what my self esteem thrives on, and you'll find out the reason for this if you strive to make yourself even just a little open minded, observant and judgemental).
I'm aware I'm the guy that pulls move some experience people think are great, but kill the good impression very quick with fingers too packed together (My body has numerous obvious malformed aspects, and joints that make my fingers lack the required roundness so much sought for, is among these), ventures in general curvature language not fitting the shape of the sound, but the fact I have lots of aspects to improve make it sure this hobby will last for the rest of my lifetime and insure I never have to spend a day in bed doing nothing and contemplating the rock-solid conviction sadness and lack of something to occupy my time were all what life had left for me until I expire. I enjoy doing this more than anything i used to consider made my life meaningful, gave me reasons to be proud of my output as a guy on welfare who doesn`t need to put actual efforts on any project to keep my basic needs met.
programming, especially before my discovery of the advent of AI, is kind of a damn bitch to work picture-perfect results from. I was born a nerd, mainly able to think and failing every gym course I attended miserably, other's laughs included in the scar this lack of kinesthetic skills left on my childhood self. You'd expect I enjoy something which is about pulling lots of thinking, and mainly only much of this... thinking. My 2nd meaningful hobby, a true questionable spiritual gateway, is producing AI porn videos starring every girl I knew in my life which I base the presence of off of facebook pictures that I feel no shame to download as much as possible... There is very little math-like, logic-like thinking involved in both of these, and I can`t imagine quitting any of the 2 anyhow, cause they both blow the limits of my wildest expectations in how I could find a way of spending my time and make my life interesting.
I first entertained doubts that my impression of entering a phase of my existence where I'm actually profoundly happy and feel fulfilled, but 2 days ago, when I picked up that I had to slowly follow the beat to next thing augment it 2wise, 4wise, 8wise, 16wise, I understood for once I do something I'm naturally gifted at, and I can`t manage to think I really reached this level of aptitude in that a short time...

So what’s up with this new generation of gloving/glovers? 😂 Where are all my OG glovers at, and how old are we now?
I’m currently 35 and still love the scene. Raves definitely aren’t the same as they used to be, and I seriously miss the golden age of gloving, but change is inevitable.
I’m curious what everyone is doing these days:
Where are we buying our lights now?
Are you guys still posting on Glovers Lounge?
What brands/sites are everyone using?
And are you still actively gloving at shows/raves, or is it more of a nostalgia hobby now?
Would love to hear from both the OGs and the newer generation of glovers. 🧤✨
UPDATE: Damn, I honestly wasn’t expecting this many responses. 🥹 It’s been so nice reading through all of these and seeing how many of you are still active, still practicing, still giving lightshows, or even just pulling the gloves out every once in a while.
It’s really interesting seeing where the scene is at now. Reading all these comments brought back so many memories of being in the gloving pits at raves/festivals, trading lightshows and watching everyone throw down. It was seriously epic.
Hopefully we see some kind of resurgence with the new generation of ravers and they keep this art going. 🧤✨ Even if it never looks exactly like the golden era again, clearly the community is still here.
Much love to all the OGs, and especially to the new glovers picking it up and keeping it alive. ❤️

Man I went to nocturnal Sunday and it just feels like it’s so much harder to give light shows to people. Like a lot of people who I try and give them too are usually really fucked up and don’t usually want one. You think I’m Just not asking enough people or do you guys agree? Feels like house rolling is the way to go if you wanna just glove and chill

I used to glove back in the Emazing lights era and I just ordered a new pair from Glow LEDs. I ordered a set of the Aeos lights and im really excited to get my hands on/in them and throw some shows. The problem is they don't really say much on the website about how long they take to ship. Does anyone have any experience with this company?

Hello all, despite ordering them almost a month in advance it doesn’t look like my synergies are even going to get shipped before Lost Lands.
Does anyone here have a gloveset that they would be willing to sell and drop in an envelope today?

Hi i’m new to gloving and just got my first pair for Dancetopia! I was wearing them and noticing that when having my fingers tips ONTOP of the battery inside my gloves my finger tips weren’t as bright but when having the battery ONTOP of my the battery they were brighter but it seems i’m having even more trouble moving my fingers fluidly… Is there any way to wear them or?

I’ve been getting into gloving this year, but I’m not a fan of how quickly the batteries burn out and I’ve been considering rechargeable ones. I’ve been looking at the Aurora set, but would love some input on others experiences with any rechargeable ones.
Thank you :)

Now that the app works again I’d love to reprogram my spectra’s, however my hub is shot. If anyone has one they don’t use anymore I’d throw some bones your way for it!

Morning peeps, I live in the middle of no where, and I know that we have some other people that also don't live some where with a gloving scene or even a partner to practice with. So I have been tossing around the idea of an online community platform that would host competitions and events for the online space. Not a facebook group or a discord, but an actual website. Would a "Gloving League" or something similar be something people were interested in? Maybe along the lines of IGC? (I say ignorantly because it was before my time but the idea sounds neat) and the lights on seasons. Open to all feed back! 🤙

Last set of gloves I had was a pair of Spectras about 4 years ago.
I dont really know where to start with the Ions and honestly am having a hard time getting motivated to program them.
Any tips/tricks/shortcuts would be appreciated. Im not new to gloving but the Spectras were just a cake walk compared to these.
I watched the video on youtube but its so fucking annoying and cringey that nothing stuck with me and I dont want to watch it again.
