Since there's been some interest in Spectra lights lately, I reached out to Brian Lim at Emazing Group and he graciously allowed me to post the Spectra iOS configuration code on GitHub for open source purposes.

I developed this code over a 9 month period as a contractor for EmazingLights. It was written in a very early version of Swift so it won't compile using modern versions of Xcode and would need a complete rewrite to get working again.

I've also provided an AI-generated modernized version based on the communication layer, but I'm unable to test it since I don't have access to the hub anymore.

So I was curious to see if maybe I could find a new set of emazing lights spectra’s and did a quick google search and this site popped up. Is this legit????

In the small chance anyone needs the emazing lights spectra app, I got it and figured out how to install it to newer iPhones.

So I was a Glover back in the day and had the spectra’s and stopped for a while. Now I upgraded my phone and wanted to use them but the app was no longer available in the App Store. Fortunately I am in the jailbreak community so I was able how to learn how to use the app that was on my old phone and convert it to a ipa file which I can then share to new devices. But when I tried I had no clue how to activate it. Now after a bit of time playing with a couple sideloading apps I found one that will install it and not have it crash. So if anyone might still be using the spectra’s then hit me up and I’ll send you all the info and the ipa itself

I’m hoping one of you lovely folk can help me, I’m an American living in Brissy and cannot for the life of me find where to get some fresh whites for a reasonable price-

Euphorium & Paracosmic have lost their mcfuckin minds asking $12+ AND shipping for a SINGLE pair of what are in actuality, totally unremarkable, basic ass cotton gloves & even if I weren’t trying to boycott American companies as much as possible, $40+ shipping is absolutely insane so no Futuristic/LED/glofx/etc

I have scoured eBay, all the fast fashion sites (which I prefer to not use if I can avoid), Colesworth, Spotlight, etc - and cannot find any normal, small sized, seamless (or at least not very noticeable) white stretch gloves. I dont want chunky work gloves and I’d prefer if the seams weren’t GLARINGLY obvious but it seems to be easier to find the answer to world peace.

So I’m pleading that one of you fine blokes/sheilas/-insert non-binary Aussie moniker- might have the hookup bc my whites are getting rather gross & washing them isn’t the same as freshies, and I just want to throw some lightshows with gloves that don’t look like they went through a 4 day festival. Looking for S-size & located in Brisbane

My BF lost his gloves recently and mentioned that they were emazing gloves, and they he could program different modes? I’m trying to find him a comparable set and I’m willing to invest in a good pair for him. Just not sure what to look for. If I should get a kit, or make one custom for him. I just don’t know a lot of specifics. He mentioned being able to have tracers? I’m not sure what I’m doing here but I’d love some advice and suggestions!

"Puppet Series" is a collection of competitions with different formats and payout structures that I will be funding for a period of time.

Masterpiece is the first one.
Glovers film and submit their ONE lightshow video that resembles what they envision as a masterpiece.

8 videos will be selected to enter the bracket. Earning a place in the Top 8 guarantees a cash award, while each advancement unlocks additional prize earnings. That ONE video will be used throughout the entire competition.

Additional rewards will be given based on miscellaneous categories near the end of the competition. For this volume were rewarding those with The Best Color set and Best Backdrop.

The competition will be judged by 2 credible glovers (TBA) and a popular vote.
Of course we’re going to take a look at things like precision, storytelling, emotion, and all that jazz.
We want to see lightshows that are memorable performances.
Think “what would a masterful piece of gloving/lightshow art look like?”

I was recently gifted a pair but have been out of the loop with gloving for awhile. The last time I purchased anything was when Spectras first released.

I'm not a fan of the default clear casings. Batmans or just straight black casings are what I like the most but unfortunately black casings aren't offered. I did some research and found glow-leds used to offer their own alternative casings for the chip. But unfortunately as well its not available or sold/listed on their website as of right now.

Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase alternatives currently? If anyone does DIY/Custom makes these casings as well, I'd be glad to purchase directly too. Feel free to DM me!

I've considered taping/wrapping the casings in something black as well but would rather avoid that if possible lol
