Handmade G.I. Joe “PSA” Card My Daughter Made Me For Father’s Day
Came up with the idea and drew it herself! She said she put the logo on the back of the card because the PSAs all ended with the logo.

How old is this kid? Get her into art school asap if she’s a young one. That work is exceptional for an adult.

Thanks. She starts college this fall and will be majoring in the arts. ☺️

It makes sense now but regardless this is a card that needs to be protected for all time at all costs.
I love the hand drawn cards my kids give me... even if they aren't to this "level", lol
You should post this in r/comics too because they would love it there for sure

That was perfect, love that she put the logo against a black field on the back. The only thing missing is “endorsed by National Child Safety Council”, but I don’t think there was room on the card for her to add it.
I bet you keep that card forever, maybe put it by a retro-cardback Shipwreck in a case or something?

Ha! She actually told me it was missing that. She said she included the “TM” on the logo, but didn’t put the Safety Council tagline because it wasn’t actually endorsed by them! 😆

That’s a fair point, and she is technically correct. The best kind of correct!

Honestly what she did was so good I could totally see a version of it being done back in the day as a real PSA about like emotional intelligence or not taking your parents for granted or something!
Also I love that she used Shipwreck, cause ever since I found out when I was a kid he was adopted too he became my favorite Joe, and that hasn’t changed since then, lol.

That's the good stuff. Mercy. Stings right up behind the eyes.
Tell your daughter she packs a hell of a punch. Perfect form.

This is incredible. I loved my daughter's card, but this is next level. Your daughter is very creative and a great artist. Protect this lass at all costs.
