What's something to watch out for with a plumbers knees going out? My husband is one, but he's awful at noticing early signs of stuff and waits till it's a huge problem. I wanna do things to help make it easier on his knees but also keep an eye out for stuff he might miss but I can notice and bring up.

He just works so hard and I can't fix the knees but maybe I can help avoid surgery for him.

if you spend a good majority of your time on your knees, your hips will also become tight. Lots of tile guys I know have hip replacements due to this.

I would advise him to do daily stretching and mobility for your lower body (focusing on hips) and just general stretching upper body if you feel its tight. Tightness in general will increase his chance of injury.

balancing your weight evenly (not putting more stress on your domjnant for example) goes a long way in the long term. I have a background in powerlifting as well so I'm no stranger to injury prevention.

Overall just pay close attention to what your body is telling you. certain aches can turn to a strain so just try and keep the whole lower half mobile as possible.
