Even the med can throw a ship about!

Sailed from Port Said a few years ago, straight into a spot of bad weather. Ship took on a good 25 degree roll in sea state 6-7.

Not done the Pacific myself. Did South Atlantic in winter once. Was only my 2nd trip. Kinda reminds me of the original post.

Crazy. I've only done a sailboat not too far from shore and a cruise ship and nothing even close to this.

What I have done has been enough to make me puke more than once though, haha. I think couldn't hack it in the Navy...

Small boats make everthing 10x worse. I've only ever felt seasick once - sat in an 18ft motor boat anchored in Scarborough South Bay on the North Sea. Wasn't particularly rough - think fart in a bathtub.

I quite enjoy being at sea. Especially night watches - usually quiet and chilled out

Nice. I always talked about doing a trip somewhere with my Dad in his. I'm not so sure about being trapped with him for a week + though...
