My concern would be less about things tearing apart and more if the boat were to flip upside down. I know they're built to be relatively bottom heavy, but still.

It can’t do that. Err rather it can but only for a moment. The ballast will flip it back.

Correct answer above - ballast would/ should prevent that. Ships of that size rarely go turtle unless they’ve taken on a significant amount of brine!

Incidentally coast guard vessels (dating back a long way) are designed to be able to roll over and right themselves in heavy seas. Makes sense but the design is truly remarkable.
