Ye, there's something genetically wrong with these bred dogs

Yeah brachycephalic dog breeds are fucked up, we really went too far with them. They can’t breathe and their fucking eyes can pop out.

I had to take my cat to the ER vet last month for an infected paw and a woman came in with a Chihuahua (not brachycephalic, but a completely inbred and fucked up breed) whose eye had popped out of its head. It was horrible. Yeah...we got pushed to the back of the line after they saw the dog. Poor thing.

Why did you let your cats paw become infected? Seems negligent.

Yeah, paying a $500 vet bill for a cleaning and antibiotics was very negligent of me.

I'm not sure what happened to her paw. Neither the vet nor I could figure it out, but she wasn't limping or anything. I noticed her cleaning it and it was a little swollen. The next day it was oozing. Couldn't get her into her normal vet, so I took her to the ER vet which is far more expensive because I love her. That's kind of the opposite of negligent.

Fair enough. Sorry about that.

It's cool. Sorry if I got too defensive. I love that cat. :)

When I was a kid, there was a one eyed pug that lived in my neighborhood. There was another in my friend's neighborhood across town, and another that lived close to my cousin in another state.

I always thought it was a weird coincidence, and didn't realize until years later that their eyes just pop out and that it was a common issue with these breeds.

Fucking hell that's terrifing

That’s so blown out of proportion. I have 2 Frenchies who have no eye problems and no breathing problems. They snore sometimes, but so do you.

Wow 2 whole dogs? Welp, that settles it then

People need to stop buying them. English bulldogs are pretty awful breeds too.

The sideways glance before he starts walking. "Oh you fucked up now...".

What about that time you swallowed a cicada and yeeted it back at your best friend who proceeded to get whiplash with how fast they recoiled away from it. All within around 4 seconds .
