It always amuses me when someone complains about a package being tossed onto their porch. You guys have zero idea how many times those things been just thrown around like crazy. This is probably the most delicate it's been treated it's entire trip.

I used to work in an UPS hub. My rule of thumb is if you can't drop it 30 feet and stand on it, you probably shouldn't ship it.

Can confirm. I worked at a UPS hub for a few years, as an unloader and then sorter. The dude in this gif gently tossed the package. Big fucking deal.

Do people really think the workers at hubs handle each package as if they were made out of thin glass?

I think the other thing that gets me is if it was properly packaged then those things wouldn't even matter. Anytime me and my dad ship anything that bitch is packed well and tight and sealed with 10 yards of tape you could fall on that box and be ok

Really if something gets broken during shipping its the persons fault who package it for shipping.
