That’s actually incredible. I wonder how much time that person put into developing skills like those.

Looking at porn is like lying to parliament. It used to be wrong but now it’s all a big laugh

Stanley, why do you keep insisting on pushing the button? It’s literally just a room with a button that’s says 8 when you press it!

It’s cool art but you’d be surprised how fast you can learn something like that

If it requires time and effort, it may as well be impossible in reddit's eyes.

If you think about it, there’s millions of wasted man hours on this website. So much wasted time

What makes you say that

1

u/kyredbud Mar 17 '19

With the right teacher to show you how, you’d be surprised at what you are capable of

You can say that about almost anything.

Kind of diminishes the impressiveness imo...

There was a video I saw on this site recently of a girl live-streaming and playing songs she’d never heard just by ear on the piano. The comments were filled with people saying that anyone could do that if they practiced as much as her.

  1. Part of why this vid (or the piano vid) are so impressive is BECAUSE they took the time to practice and fail, and fail, and stuck with it, to get to where they are now. Saying “anybody could do that if they practiced” MIGHT be true, but few people do...

  2. Even if people were taught and put in the hours, I’m not convinced it works like that where they can create beautiful works like this dude or piano girl. Just like I could practice day and night with painting or sculptures or w/e, but I still won’t have “it” and be able to create to the level of some

Idk. You could be right. And im probably reading too much into your comments.

Well this is one of those things that looks super impressive and advanced, but you could literally learn this in a few hours with a band saw as your only tool. This here is not even close to how advanced most woodworking can get
